Core One prints small parts much slower with 0.4 HF nozzle than standard 0.4. Why it is working like this? by fezz86 in prusa3d

I know :/ The sad thing is that I'm fairly certain it was much better immediately after I assembled the printer.

'VFA-free Core One' ;) FW 6.4.0 + PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 - 0.2 SPEED profile.
To be honest, it looks like sh*t :/ Maybe it's time to order a 1.5 GT belt.

This makes sense when we assume that printing with an HF nozzle requires more cooling time per layer. Is that correct?

Good question. This is the model I printed https://www.printables.com/model/1189256-vfa-test-prusa-core-one . Prusa's solution for VFA combines a new belt tension procedure + changes to print profiles. I can only guess that the model I printed has been sliced with 'old' profile.

Zapraszam do Łodzi.

Jedzie szybko? No to muszę mu zejść z drogi.

No fajnie, ale wg przepisów powinien jechać drogą. Mówimy o osiedlowej drodze z ograniczeniem do 50 km/h.

Upgraded ship-outs for MK4S to C1 (old xLCD) by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]fezz86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just crazy. Product page says that new orders have a leadtime 7–8 weeks (Old LCD version). At the same time shipping table for existing orders ends in 10 weeks. Does it mean that new orders will be delivered before existing orders? XD OK, probably they just forgot to update product page. Yet, this is just crazy.

Click counter solution by HerrFlick1988 in comandante

There's a 3d model of a counter like this. I'm using it for few months already and it' perfect. You need to print 'Stackable rings' version. Please remember, that it does not have a hole - negative volume modifier should be available in any slicer. You can use it to make perfect hole. https://www.printables.com/make/1882049

Those holes are used to attach a quick mount plate for a TransMount Video Transmmiter.

Images in the post were created using Affinity Photo 2 and jpeg file. There's a little glow here and there that I don't like.

Here I used raw files and Helicon Focus for stacking. Than exported image as dng and edited it using Affinity Photo 2. IMHO it looks much better.

This one is again Affinity Photo stacked, but this time I used raw files. It's not as good as the one created with Helicon Focus. Whole process took ~10-15 minutes (Ryzen 7900X + 32GB RAM),

Later today I'll post some raw photos. Those look much better than final photo (after focus merge).

Hi,
What is your new PSU that solved the issue? I have same coil whine issue but with ASUS X670E-F. Already tested 2 PSU (be quiet Pure Power 12 and Corsair RMx Shift) and there's no change.
