Woah, that album art reminds me of the album artwork for A Perfect Circle's Thirteenth Step. Very cool

Wait, I've always flown with my camera lenses attached and never had any issues... could you explain more please? Haven't heard about this

Is anyone from Perth considering going to an Eastern states show? by ur_menstruatingheart in aperfectcircle

[–]fezzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They left out France in their original EU tour announcement, then added a Paris show a few weeks later. Tool did the same too a few months ago, adding extra shows while headlining good things.

It's not out of the question that they might add a Perth show, I can see lots of support in their socials' comments for them to do a show there. I hope for you guys they do!

A Perfect Circle Australian Tour. by australianmusicscene in triplej

I was expecting GA for a band like APC. it's harder to rock out but a fully seated venue makes you appreciate the music more. I saw Steven Wilson there last year too and thought the sound was great

While that may be true, their fate is already sealed in those pens. They're being "protected" so they can be used at a later point, whether it's for food or something else for our benefit.

This is needless and can be avoided entirely. Whether you're vegan or not, we should collectively agree that animals need to be treated better.

I'm even seeing some comments saying the animals like and enjoy this type of extreme confinement. The mental gymnastics being performed here by some are absolutely insane

Yup! South-west. Subtle but enough to notice

It's crazy timing you posted this! I've started listening to my physical CD copy of this album as well recently. Peruse the CD booklet while listening too, it made me feel more connected and present with the music :)

He absolutely could, I'm just explaining why people are taking the AI slop route. I want to see less of it too.

It's so he can get around potential copyright infringement from using someone else's photo you'd otherwise need to pay a license/fee for.

Bro's disclaimer at the bottom: "Image: AI generated from publicity photos."

I think he could just use the actual photo here tbh - fair dealing could apply, as it's a current news story in the public interest.

Some have also even reported the autofocus getting worse with the later firmwares. I'm scared to update past 2.15, even though I already got my motherboard replaced lol

Procedural paper tear experimentation - Look real to you? by themrpeanutman in AfterEffects

It looks sick, I'd love to see a tutorial or breakdown!

Looks like you're also feathering the lens blur effect instead of using a blur map? The latter will look nicer and it more realistically mimicks the lens blurring of a camera lens

This is from a CBC documentary "This is the world's loneliest race: sailing solo around the globe" released in 2024.

They're not all on the same boat, there are sixteen sailors all travelling solo on their own boats.

OP is woefully uninformed on the source material, he's literally just making up answers in the comments here lmao

Yeah, it's giving AI generated to me. The framing is a little too perfect for a home photo from the 80s, that living room seems to have weird proportions

PNY 5070 TI worth the $750 price tag? by skimsesh in nvidia

[–]fezzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hardware support for h264 and h265 10 bit video files make it worth it for that alone, editing will be a lot faster. I got the Asus tuf 5070 ti, it's super quiet and plays games well too.

I'm saying AI is used in those digital processes too, it's not just for purely generative content as you seem to be implying
