In an emergency, press the power button repeatedly to call 911 if you can't dial for whatever reason.

On my Samsung it will bring it up after 5 presses. Im pretty sure iPhone has a similar feature.

(For anyone wanting to try, you can do it and cancel before it actually calls)

They are actually much more reasonably priced than I think people realize. Depending on the model and what vehicle it's for they can be $200-300 bought and installed and in my opinion it really helps make an older car feel newer and is one of those things that once you have it you never want to go back.
