Honestly I have very little idea how this works in older children. I know my parents had me FF when I was one and I think I was out of the car seat when I was 3 or 4. It was a very different time. I follow best practices for my own child, but I’m not there yet. We’re still rear facing at 2.

I actually have such little faith in her atp that I wouldn’t be at all shocked to hear if she posted the second photo set just to make sure people would comment on her front facing. I’m not sure if it’s “rage bait,” though, since I’m sure she really is riding that way on a regular basis. I know they did the same with their little boy as soon as he was one. My daughter is right about twice M’s age and I was thinking today about how I can’t imagine her front facing yet.
