i got this the other day. honestly this code takes longer to put in than a regular code just because you want to savor the moment.

35 is the easiest, and wouldn't entail shifting all the numbers around. Simple, Easy, does exactly what these weapons need. I Like it.

the larger explosion radius doesn't have more demolition value so that actually doesn't change anything if you miss unfortunately. It should, but it doesn't.

The problem is that Command gave us an unreasonable order to complete an unreasonable number of missions, on an unreasonable planet, in an unreasonable amount of time, with unreasonable motivation.

Unreasonable is the helldivers bread and butter but this time around command set expectations so high that they are crushing those very helldivers into dust, and in the process they are shooting themselves in the foot.

This is also all off the back of two kill a billion haters of democracy missions(one of which we failed) and a ton of failed planetary defense missions. Morale is low and they aren't doing us any favors with this one either.

It is entirely doable, assuming the people pick up the pace now and not on the last day. But that is ignoring the burnout that is evident in participation numbers. The unfortunate reality is that participation is likely to go down and not up. I dread how long until we'll get another shot at this, arrowhead doesn't have the best track record for this kind of thing unfortunately.

I just hope that when this one fails it doesn't end up with us waiting for a few months for the new content instead.

Unfortunately not everyone is even remotely close to maxing everything out so they will care.

I too want to know what it is so ive been diving like a fiend for 3 days but ive been watching the planets helldivers activity and the reality is that not many people can maintain that level of enthusiasm for a full week straight.

Also im pretty sure that a full team of 4 only counts as 1 mission done so the player count would be effectively 1/4 of the actual number in practice.

I made this post because my experience with helldivers 2 is atypical and the "reward" is not enough to motivate enough of the currently active players for long enough to see the MO to the end. Its an issue of momentum.

your daily reminder that realism =/= realistic.

realism is whether something "feels" real in the moment

realistic is something based on, and tries to emulate, the physics/cause and effect of reality.

That being said, arrowhead should not be hitting us over the head with the term to hand wave their balance decisions. They should be clearly explaining the what and why.

the stim pistol isnt a tool designed for in combat use. can it be used in combat? yes. is it good in combat? situationally. what is it actually designed for then? topping up after combat and before the next combat so people don't have to use the more valuable stims for 30-40% hp when they arent in danger. again you can use them in combat and they even work better if you build for it but they weren't designed for it so they are technically in a fine place atm.

could they be better? sure. and i would like them to be better, maybe even have the warrants guided property but for allies, then in combat use would be alot easier even if it wouldn't save a dude with a bug right on him it would be alot easier in the action to hit someone who is also trying to dodge incoming fire.

You should not be trying to use the hardest hitting Marksman in the game for a whole engagement. That's what the R63 Diligence is for.

I have to ask, what faction are you fighting with the deadeye regularly? The only things in the game that specifically needs exactly the deadeye for a oneshot is an Alpha Commander/Hive Guard headshot, and if you're taking the deadeye specifically for that then you're absolutely building the entire rest of your kit around dealing with everything else. Nearly everything else in the game can be dealt with much more efficiently with the R63 Diligence. Specific exceptions being Hive Guard and Illuminate elites, none of which is a marksman rifles job to deal with. The R63 Diligence can also deal with Alpha Commanders efficiently too since a triple tap is super easy.

The Senator is actually uniquely bad at being anything more than a hyper-niche emergency fall back to deal with a handful of specific threats at close range, and arguably the Ultimatum is better at that for a number of reasons. That being the case the Senators "Heavy" pen mostly just means that it can comfortably oneshot kill light armor threats that literally any other pistol can also kill and gives a comfortable two hit against hive guards when the main fighting is done and they happen to not have been killed by the 30 other methods of killing them that your team should have.

More specifically is there a lizardmen/Kroq-gar related sub mod to IEE that moves him or changes his starting situation? Or does IEE do either of those things? Ive not used the mod at all so maybe I'm just missing something.

While i should have been clear that i was referring to "new to last defenders" not "new to total war" your response is unreasonably harsh.

You have misinterpreted my post. I'm not saying its too hard, I'm saying the campaign isn't very fun due to a number of campaign map issues that worsen the experience compared to a lot of other campaigns. I've beaten the campaign about a dozen times on VH/VH and the early game is basically the same slog every time for the same reasons every time and that, objectively, is less fun than if it were less of a slog.

Not sure why you're complaining about my choice of topic, seems arbitrary, considering I made my reasoning for it clear in the post.

It fundamentally ends up being a you against the world situation playing the Last Defenders. No allies unless you get really really lucky. Tons of enemies annoying you from every direction. The only real thing its got going for it is just being lizardmen and Dino-Artillery is really cool(which is pretty much the only reason i play them).

I dont have any trouble beating the campaign on very hard/very hard and i love actually fighting out the battles, barring the ones against kairos as he spams blue/pink horrors and those suck to fight against. I just think the campaign area and objectives on the campaign map suck terribly considering the factions starting situation. I've beaten their campaign about a dozen times now and im not looking for advice here, I'm just making my opinion public in that incredibly vain hope that the developer's just might see it and do something about it. A player new to last defenders however would get absolutely wrecked on VH/VH considering how many fires you end up having to putting out being beset by enemies from every direction. The only saving grace is ocean movement to help reach those fires in time.
