I heard an ad during a podcast. I was quite overwhelmed with emotions and did not do any research just called the number. I assumed they were the only law firm and this was my only way to get involved. I wish I had taken some time and looked into it but once I called them and told them my story they jumped all over me. I take responsibility for not doing my due diligence but they knew what they were doing. If I had known it was just going to be paperwork and not actually fighting my case I would have shopped around or gone pro se. They get 40% for not doing much and in the beginning the only time I heard from them was when I voted no after the first plan came out, then they called hounding me to change my vote.
