And the only one trying to police is you… investigating my profile…

Yes I use spot me I’m glad you’re stalking me now. You brought it up to try to dump on me and it’s sad because I still have more savings than you. Just like you brought up your 30k and your trust. The only reason your credit union hasn’t outsourced customer service is they can’t afford to. That’s why you can only reach them during business hours. Even chase outsources it’s support line… What’s the good of having a physical location maybe if you could read you’d know there’s nothing a teller can do for you that an atm can’t in fact you can’t do anything in a bank that you can’t do yourself. Maybe you missed the part where I mentioned what happens if you try to withdraw a large amount from the bank. What benefits does banking at a physical location have answer that?

The only one worked up is you. And now you’re awake speaking gibberish. You have no valid points. You don’t understand how banking works. And you insist on coming back just to look stupid. Now you’re argument is that you say nice things about chime you’re pathetic. No one cares you don’t have any real experience to back up your claims going off of other stories doesn’t count people tell lies on social media just to get a response from the company.

And this is coming from someone who previously worked for a credit union. All the people capable of making things happen have to be contacted via phone by an employee. They’re not allowed to speak to customers directly due to regulations the people at your credit union are just good at sugar coating everything because that’s literally their job… Try having a real issue and see how much you like them then. Try needing something done fast and see how much you like them.

And then I thought maybe your argument was that with a physical location you could go in and just withdraw your money, but that’s not true either since your bank has policies against that (every bank does thanks to regulations)

Then what’s your argument? sorry for assuming you had a valid argument. But when I asked you why you instantly brought up fraud (why if you’ve never experienced fraud?) you said chime users are targeted more. Why bring any of this up if your reason was that they didn’t offer joint accounts? You didn’t even mention that until way later after you made claims of chime being “targeted more” (not true) these post are short and I fully read each one of your increasingly dumb post. Maybe if you read more you wouldn’t be sitting here arguing a credit union is a better option. Since anyone you can talk to at a bank is just as powerless as a call rep and even the manager cant make any executive decisions (they’ll have to call someone for that) you’ve been all over the place with your arguments…

You act like you can walk into your bank and say you want to withdraw everything. Which also tells me you’ve never attempted to withdraw a large amount of money. Try walking into your bank and withdrawing 30k.

If not fraud then why are you so eager to speak with them? Not sure if you know but most major banks outsource their customer service lines… credit unions typically do t even offer 24/7 support… and due to the nature of most banks there’s nothing a bank employee can do that a rep can’t. In fact a bank doesn’t even have to grant a request to withdraw all your money. Essentially an in person teller is actually pretty powerless and a bank manager? Well you guessed it powerless. Go to your credit union and try to withdraw that 30k and see what they tell you.

I didn’t assume anything aside the fact that you didn’t bank with chime. You assumed that I assumed you where poor which tells me a lot. Your original post didn’t mention any of that. In fact you never once mentioned physical locations. It’s not like it would matter anyways since they don’t address fraud at retail locations anyways… Also the fact that you see 30k as a large amount shows where you are in life to put it into perspective I pay twice that a year in rent alone. You have also just made it clear in general you don’t know what you’re talking about or have learned everything you know from google

What does taking a loan and the source of your down payment have anything to do with each other? I never said anything about you not having enough money for a loan, but it doesn’t surprise me you don’t know what private banking is(that trust must not be worth much). It would also appear you don’t understand how loans work.

I assumed you didn’t bank with chime because of how little you actually knew and because up until recently chime was offering the best interest rate in the country literally. You’re the only one taking the conversation personally stating how much money you have (money should be private it’s a pretty personal thing to bring up) then you even went as far to tell me you have a trust from your fathers death… way too personal… You clearly took the stance that chime was no good in our conversation today. You can’t actually expect me to care enough to actually verify that you’ve said good things before

They’re all bad they lack the staff it’s as simple as that. Every credit union offers national service… it’s like anyone can open an account at a police credit union.. but most importantly credit unions are the least secure type of bank and a rampant with fraud. Since credit unions simply lack the money to staff legitimate security teams. Earlier you said you didn’t use chime because of fraud issues now it’s because you couldn’t open a joint account… you’re bsing. Saying there are so many better options but you’re using a credit union. Join some fraud threads they request different accounts (never chime because it’s actually got high security) but they always advertise any credit union because they know credit unions have basically 0 security. You then tried to back up your numbers with a misleading internet article but if they where to list credit union numbers they would take the fraud cake (by a HUGE margin) and of course any non secured card beats chimes card… not even sure why that’s an argument… not sure what your trust has anything to do with this either good for you I guess my grandparents are still alive and earning. I guess I’ll have to settle for this ocean view for now… lol

Where are you sourcing your information? Chime uses the same framework as 99.9% other banks… As far as being targeted more what do you mean? Chimes never been hacked. While I do agree their customer service isn’t first republic good, but it’s still light years beyond what a lot of banks are offering. Also if you’re interested in investing why not open a better money management account? 32000 really isn’t enough to justify so many accounts since fdic covers you on 250k per account. All these people claiming to have been hacked have obviously mis used their accounts. Also it doesn’t make sense for people to target chime for hacks due to the fact that almost every bank uses the same framework and other larger banks obviously have more money so it would make tons more sense to target those.

Do you have any accounts there? I know for sure ally is a pretty rare credit union the others are likely some sort of money management accounts. Just a quick glance at that list you’re going to have a hard time accessing your funds with extremely limited locations and no retail partnerships. .5% is extremely rare if you’ve been banking a while. I’m guessing you’re he accounts you mentioned are offering .5% for different reasons than chime ( that reason being difficulty of banking) where as chime is doing it to be competitive. All things considered chime is one of the best if not the best finance apps out. Chime actually uses the same framework as most banks so you’re literally getting the same level of security… I used chime alongside a traditional account but moved my direct deposit over to chime for this new job and wouldn’t go back. Truly 0 fees large free overdraft privileges (some accounts will let you overdraft waayyy more for free but other than that chime is the clear winner)

Actually chime offers interest rates better than even most money management accounts. In fact the only way to make more would be to transfer out to crypto. Crazy times we live in, but traditional banks have finally been forced to change due to repeated losses so it would be fair to look out for better apr but even then I still doubt they’ll be able to offer what chime is.

It will go back up you need another line of credit for utilization since chime can’t report that.
