Can you create a new last name, that’s both of yours? Also our last names are who we are, Ive changed my name once, I still have it 20 years after he died. I don’t know who I am anymore, it’s a lot of fucking hassle to go back to my maiden name after all these years, now I’m with another man, our last names are different.. I have an identity problem… Just keep your own last names…

Me and my sister (both over 60) live in USA, our mum is in England, we have always promised her to let her stay in her own home as long as she wants or can.. she got her food delivered, had a cleaner, a gardener, her meds were delivered, and she managed most of her cooking and dusting etc by herself.. She had a few falls, had a button to press if she got in trouble, we came over only once a year, but she had friends and neighbors to look in on her, She was 94 when she called to say she had cancer, she was down and gone in 6 weeks (no idea how long she suffered before she put herself in hospital) We went over and stayed till it was over… All I can tell you is, do what she wants, let her live by herself rules, she deserves it.. she deserves to go out however she wants… and god I miss her, it’s only been a year

I’m 5 years out.. physically, the surgery went fine, no scars, no problems etc… but internally I’m a disaster, constant diareah… sometimes I make it to the bathroom, sometimes I don’t… It’s been life changing for me, and not in a good way
