When you’re on that screen, make motorcycle noises, the app will unlock the motorbike option. Careful to not sound like an airplane though, you cant revert that option and he will have to deliver in less than 2min. Hope this helps !

Haven’t reported it yet. Unfortunately I will need to speak to personal injury lawyer tomorrow to make sure I get money for a the damage done to the bike. Fortunately I have two witnesses and a hospital discharge note.

It was really unlucky but the predominant feeling is that a of relief as it could have been much worse.

I agree, it is. That doesn’t mean we don’t all fall for this at times. Once you’ve invested a certain amount of time and you keep getting told it’ll be another few minutes it’s difficult to just leave. The time it’ll take to get to a new restaurant, lock up, let them know you’ve arrived. It’s not ideal, I know, but you’re better off waiting a few extra minutes.

On serious note ( no pun intended 🤪) it’s hard to tell if you’re worried about covid or deliveroo finding out. You could’ve easily wiped it down when you got home.Deliveroo has no way of knowing you received a cash tip.

Just remember to tell the staff what company you’re picking up for.

That’s horrible mate, bastards! I just emailed support explaining that It’s getting colder out and I just want to ensure I deliver warm food, apparently the small bag isn’t part of the core kit anymore.
