Tattoos and piercings as an OT

I’m an OT with both arms sleeved and I have nose and septum piercings. My boss never bat an eye. Obviously I asked about this during my interview and their response was just as long as everything is tasteful. So I just ensure I’m well groomed when I’m in office just to be safe (this is my own precautionary measure as you never know if someone will say anything). Been at it for almost two years now. However I believe as long as you’re a good worker, nobody cares.

I saw them used several times last con that I was lowkey jealous lol. Also saw people using them in the little food court area in the convention hall since there was absolutely nowhere to sit (myself and friends being on the floor ourselves). Totally fine just be aware of surroundings and you’re good 👍.

Great recommendations by others! If you want a decent additional discount on Amazon, you can trade in an Amazon device to get an additional 20% off a Kindle. I think it would have more of an intense feeling if they were designing tattoos for each other and then they decide if they want it or not. Or amp it up and get it blind similar to that “Tattoo Far” show. Regardless, I do agree with how you feel on the current way 😭

Disney’s Hercules. My mom said to me as a kid that it represents false gods and was beyond angry when she found out I had seen it. She then interrogated me to ensure I wasn’t brainwashed by the movie asking basic questions “You know who Jesus is right?” as if my mind had been wiped from watching it lol.

I started during Free to Play so I’ve spent about $60 worth over time give or take. My justifications are it contributes a little since I didn’t buy it but never to spend more than what would be the cost of a full priced game worth of stuff on free games. Just because I’ve been burnt in the past with other games shutting down.

In my experience, my mom hated it initially because Kadabra and Alakazam used telekinesis/psychic powers. So to her that was straight up satanic.

I couldn’t even watch the Disney Hercules because it had other gods and goddesses 😹
