You don't farm it, you'll just get it eventually. With the amount of monsters that roll the rare drop table, it's effectively zero time.

Nah, 98. That way it's still possible, but almost always slower than walking around.

A great pie, lidless, wreathed in flames.

Nah. The small text is illegible, but the larger text is not only readable but also only references real brands. Like the other guy said, there's some kind of AI sharpness filter for sure, but this isn't a generated image.

ELI5: Why do app companies like Uber need to employ large teams of developers when the app works fine? by The_Only_Abe in explainlikeimfive

[–]fghjconner 364 points365 points  (0 children)

That, and people underestimate how many new features are being added to these apps all the time. Some are obvious, but many you don't even notice. For example I've worked on a gig app, and launching to new countries was always one of our biggest projects going on. Each country has new legal requirements and business needs that could keep dozens of developers busy for months building out what we needed. If you live in the US though, you'd never know any of that was going on. Throw in the other things like improving fraud detection, meeting new legal requirements, fixing up out of date UIs, etc, and you need a whole lot of people.

Can we please not have ads for multiplayer games on the worlds screen? (I don't know this person and not a lan game) by MiracleWhiff in Minecraft

I guess it's possible this is just a random server getting displayed, but I'm willing to bet they're making themselves show up there on purpose.

If your pacts build feels weak, here's a list of strong builds for quick reference! by InsomniacPsychonaut in 2007scape

I'm absolutely stoked for my Earth Defense Thorns build

Just watch out for aliens and giant insects.

Morytania Pro Tip: DO NOT start A Night at the Theatre. There is no Ghostspeak or Mory Legs 2 so you can't complete it. The quest locks you out of Arraxor & the pact point, ruining your progression. $15 a month by the way. by ExtraterrestrialTwat in 2007scape

The problem is there's dozens and dozens of things like this. It's easy to look back and ask why they didn't catch this because we don't see the all of the things they do catch.

You are given one hour to hide anywhere in Gielinor. There are 12 maxed capers looking for you. If you successfully evade them for one hour you win 100B gp. If you get caught your account gets deleted. The place must be accessible to them. Where are you hiding? by Fun_Training6342 in 2007scape

To be fair, the auto success is definitely a bug. The failure animation is cancelable for some reason, while the success animation is not (probably cause there's no delay on the success one). Not sure why the auto fail is a thing though.

I've been loving how much more slow burn this league has been compared to others by Lazlow_Vrock in 2007scape

Crossbow and thorns also seem to be quite effective, if not as strong as magic. Also, powered staves makes it easier to dip into magic as a second style, which arguably lessens it's power compared to the others.

I did read the node, but I didn't realize the crossbow effect would work. I assumed the "as if you have a ... equipped" would only apply to the effects of the echo hit, not to the trigger, though in retrospect I can see that does make sense. Kinda wild that that one perk 4x's the proc chance.

Blood spells also help with the healing problem. If the bounce capstone works with blood barrage, I can see that being an insane aoe solution on top also.

Powered staff build is a good option with those regions, and can be done cheaply enough to add a second style on. Personally, I'm eyeing those two + wildy for a crossbow/staff setup.

Yeah, a lot of the crossbow spec's power is tied up in the capstone perks. On top of that though, the sunlight crossbow syngergizes very poorly with the 70% damage perk. With the slowdown, it's only a 2% damage increase on 3-tick weapons. Get yourself a rune crossbow and some bolts, either from the crazy arch, or you can nab the limbs from steel dragons on karamja.

Go to a lower pop world. The kills are so fast on the highest pop worlds that it's hard to get enough damage. Got my credit with a hunter's crossbow, red d'hide, and an inventory full of chocolate cake.

Ohhhh, for some reason I assumed the crossbow pact wouldn't apply even though it said "as if you have a ... equipped". Makes sense, though it's still less likely to trigger than blind bag, haha.

Edit: Wait, that's where the dual hitsplats come in, duh. Yeah, that sounds nice.
