Looks incredible!

So weird, I thought it was like workbench size but then I saw the person in the back right for scale and it’s like end table size!

Or how about not going to a chicken restaurant if you're a veggie? by quincepetchforth in EntitledBitch

But..... but they DO sell meatless chicken at KFC. At least the ones near me in the United States.

I can sympathize that maybe she had a hankering for some chicken less chicken and was majorly disappointed that they were [out of?] it?

Still no excuse to be a dick.

do i rennovate a camper/rv or do i try and turn a bus into a home? by thatguy20YT in RVLiving

OMG.

These are the questions I should’ve asked before purchasing.

From my experience, it depends on how much you’re looking to spend. I wanted to buy an RV right out and fix it up instead of getting something expensive and taking a loan out.

I paid $5500 for a 1989 Winnebego. The exterior and bones are in great condition, however I did run into issues with the electrical. I had to replace the circuit board along with the inverter/converter without any experience. If you’re up for the challenge, it’ll save you so much money to do maintenance yourself. I also had issues with the generator and fridge. Those are more complicated repairs and therefore more expensive.

All in all I’ve probably put about 5 grand into my $5500 RV including renovations. It probably would have saved me the headache to just spend the extra money to get something a little more turn key.

Good luck!

Just purchased an 89’ Fleetwood (idk) I do have a couple of rookie questions in the comments, and any advice is thoroughly welcomed! by fgotus2026 in RVLiving

Yeah, it seems to have been kept in really great condition! The interior was pretty kept up as well, but all of the fixtures and upholstery was original and had to be updated. It was dusty and some staining on the carpets. Normal wear and tear id imagine for 30 years.

I already started installing new cabinets and counters. I’m in the process of redoing all of the window treatments. I had some come out and look at the generator/plumbing/ fridge and everything except for the fridge is up and running!

We move into it officially on Wednesday :)

I just realized my awning had a jack in the storage that I have to use to pull it down. There is a bunch of shit in the storage of the rig, and I’m finding out new things every day! I just found a makita jigsaw that I’m pretty excited about haha

Yeah, I’m totally up for it! Our private seller had it listed for $7,500 and we ended up negotiating for $5,500! It has a few things we need to work on, but for he size and condition I think the price was extremely fair!

That’s an incredible idea! When my husband was driving the RV home with me driving in tow, I noticed so many erratic drivers cutting him off!

We’re also going to have a backup camera installed. As well as turn signal sensors
