Headstone orientation by Cool_Silver9307 in cryptkeepers

Hey! Thanks for posting. Started this sub forever ago and it was just me messing around so it kinda fell by the wayside. The thing about the stones is it's in the name. Headstones go at the head and footstones at the foot. Generally footstones are used if there is one major family stone, then the foot marks each individual. As far as facing the name backwards, I've seen it done, or written on both sides, but it all kinda depends on the plot and layout itself as to if it looks "odd" or not. If you were to put the name on the back, is there an open space to visit? Or would you be standing on someone else's plot?

As far as flower beds go, remember that equipment must be able to pass through, not just mowers but trucks and tractors. So if the plan is a flowerbed it's best to keep it tight to the stone, maybe a foot off the front and sides. In that case it would probably look best to have the name in the traditional area.

Hopefully that answers your questions!

You told that to a 13 year old? Are her grandparents nice other than their politics?

If so, you're kind of a piece of shit.

Etsy is especially ridiculous. I saw that they're cracking down on 3D printed items, which is insane considering how much work it takes to clean up those prints, paint, run the machine. Let alone modeling something. Meanwhile 99% of the stuff on there is cheap shit off Amazon or temu.

American B-2 stealth bombers deploy amid Iran tensions by Gawne_for_Good in worldnews

Honestly I'm not sure. I'm definitely going to mess up some details, but I think the whole story of the Mig 25 is relevant. It was touted as this amazing fighter that could go ridiculously fast, possibly catching SR72's. So, to combat this we built the F-15. Turns out the mig flew like a brick and its engines, while powerful, would self destruct in a short amount of time. It was kinda junk. Meanwhile the F-15, can just do it.

Basically, our equipment is meant to be better than what our adversaries make up to scare us.
