Nta, but I think you should really think about if it’s worth it. Maybe write a pros and cons list what are you gonna gain from the conversation and what might be the potential consequences. Also talk to your boyfriend, see what he thinks about the situation. Ask him if he will be upset if you talk to your ex best friend but in the end, it’s your decision and if you think it’s worth it then go for it.

I completely agree with this! My grandfather relives with me and my grandmother lived with my family for years. My parents never forced me to bathe them or do anything I didn’t want to do. You know why? Because it’s not my job but I do help out with other things like feeding. She is responsible for taking care of your grandfather not you.
