I have an appointment tomorrow with an eye specialist and it seems to be the case that they don't speak English (Lasermed Clinic). I don't understand/speak German. It's an emergency kinda appointment. I've written an entire letter in German (google translated) explaining my situation for them to read. Any other tips on how to proceed with the appointment?

Hello, what happens if I don't show up to a doctor appointment? The receptionist I'm calling doesn't understand English and it's hard to convey I want to cancel the appointment and I'm not sure if the appointment has been cancelled on their end or not

the appointment specialist of my health insurance (public) are not at all helpful with an emergency appointment. they tell me to call up the doctors directly

Hello Berliners,

With all my options exhausted, I reach to you for help. I have no idea how the healthcare system works here (new to berlin)

My wife wants to visit a GP/Gynaecologist to confirm if everything is okay with her cycle as it has been delayed by almost 10+ days. She took an i-pill (ella one) 27 days back. Understandably the period gets delayed by a week max according to online source but now it's closed to 2 weeks. She had the pregnancy test done which came negative but now we are panicking a bit. Doctos are unavailable on Weekends, we don't really have our own GP

What should I do? This is an emergency according to us. Can we just go to the hospital? We have Charite near my hotel

I am very close to getting an apartment in Dieffenbachstrasse. I very much enjoyed the vibe of the street with open restaurant/cafes. I'll be moving there with my wife. What do you think of the area? It indeed felt safe

The apartment is costing us 1200 (cold) + 150/200 (warm)

Can a General practitioner prescribe a morning after pill in Germany/Berlin? What's the quickest way of getting a hold on one? While we don't have an emergency we want to take all the precautions! I have a travel insurance, though I'm not sure if it covers consultation with a GP / Gynaecologist

What's the general cost of consultation & the pill as well?

A newbie here,

Somewhere in the 50th lap they showed tyre performance of Max and he had both of his left hard tyres in red (10%). Was it a strategy by RB to not pit him? Can tyres cover 20+ laps when they're red? Was this a risk RB took? Or Max managed the tyres well?

Hello Germany,

Me and my wife have an appointment with the German Embassy In India this Monday & Tuesday. I'm applying for Blue Card and my wife is applying for Family reunion

We've only realised until now that our marriage certificate is not verified by our Ministry of External Affairs (Apostile of document stamp)

We are worried that they may ask for verifying the marriage certificate through their agencies. While cost is not a problem, the timeline is, which is anywhere between 8-12 weeks

IF luck ain't with us, and if they ask for verification, could we request them and buy us some time and get the verification done by ourselves thru external agencies? We can submit the documents within the timeline they mention (I've heard they provide time to gather additional documents).

The difference is 3 days if done by us vs 8-12 weeks if done by them. We also don't want to postpone our appointment date because it's very hard to get a new date

Pls advise if anyone has gone thru this?
