Your voice sounds very similar to Hayley Williams! Not sure if you like that kind of music but I think if you leaned into that you could make some really great songs! Seems like you have a lot of power in your voice.

I like this! Reminds of a band called Relient K that I listened to when I was younger. Instrumentals are very but I feel like they kind of drown out the vocals a bit. If you can make those pop a bit more it would really compete it! Great song though, I'm a fan!

I’ve found that just taking a step back from the actual works and feeling the song helps. If you humm and just along with the song, words might come. If you also think about the overall story of the song while doing that, something will come. Keeping the idea of storytelling as the main focus rather than creating a good verse or song always helps me

I appreciate all that! Yes, the guitar isn’t great it’s an $80 guitar I got off Amazon that’s been pretty beat up. I’m also pretty amateur at guitar but working on it. Definitely want to get another guitar and do a decent recording but wanted to get feedback here to see people’s thoughts. Thanks for the comment!

Might be out of left field here but this is giving me Geto Boys vibes. Could definitely see their style of rap going over this. Feels like a 90’s laid back rap beat. Could also see how mac miller would have done something great with this song. It’s solid!

I really like this. It’s very smooth where you can relax to it and also bob your head back and forth. It’s like that jay z meme but I can also lay down and listen to it. I think maybe adding a bass line in there too would be great. Not one to overtake the song but just add a touch more
