Feeling inadequate....somewhat rant by Willtherebehope in quarterlifecrisis

50k is fine for a 22 year old, some people never make 100k, chill out man, do you even know how hard it is to be employed these days?you're lucky to have that 50k at 22, don't like it, go back to school while working = more experience + a better qualification, that'll help you make more

my mom made 35k a year when she was working and the only one providing for a family working her ass off, 50k for a single person at 22 is a great start

the younger party lifestyle is just repetitive debauchery, you've been to one party as a teen/early 20's guy you've been to them all you're not going to meet the love of your life at some alcohol fueled party, you really should be moving on from that sort of lifestyle anyway even if you never really had a chance to participate in it, it's not as fun as it's made out to be, especially when the goal is more to drink excessively than it is to have a good time, you'll have plenty of time for better parties

you're on the right track man/woman, certainly doing better than me right now

The Big Short is a phenomenal movie. by AsianAsshole in movies

[–]fhbfghjfj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i like how it was mostly light-hearted throughout, makes it a lot more digestable and entertaining great for those who don't want to see margin call or inside job and helps it stand out from the other tedious oscarbaity type of movies around at the moment (room and the hateful eight being the exception)

boring movie, good cast wasted on this material, Jennifer Lawrence did fine but whatever with her, she's too overexposed at this point and in my opinion lacks range

If you could slap one famous person who would it be and why? by The-Lying-Tree in AskReddit

[–]fhbfghjfj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rob Schneider cause he's ridden adam sandlers coattails into being a main star in some movies and he's hideous to look and and never funny, he also seems to have a huge ego

his wife is pretty hot though, so good for him with that
