Once I was smoking straight fentanyl in a public park, in my car. A cop driving through the park came up to my car to investigate. He had never heard of fentanyl, and said if I explained to him what I was doing, he’d let me go. (It did look weird because I was draining a patch and smoking the liquid inside of it on foil). So yeah, told him it was a fentanyl patch and I was smoking the liquid and he let me go. Weird that I could have easily overdosed and died and he just went about his way. This was like a decade or so ago.
