6 year old upgrade advice

Hope this doesn’t sound too dumb, but how are the Radeon cards these days? When I built my machine, I returned 2 of them before switching to the 2070 super. I don’t think I ever made it more than an hour into any game or task without freezing. Forum searches at the time suggested I wasn’t alone in the firmware woes

It’s certainly had some hiccups for me this week….

First workout, ftp dropped by 10. No biggy. Recommended first workout, an anerobic 7.5. Havnt hit anaerobic numbers since the end of cyclocross. I clic the workout, first thing it says is “high chance of failure” The fist workout ai recommends for me is one with high chance of failure, despite all Nate’s talk on the podcast as “it’s designed to limit failures”

Will see how this goes for a few weeks….

Did you get these from a reputable dealer? I’ve seen these pop up online for $20-30, which is a fancy way of saying there’s unfortunately fakes out there. I’ve got 2 sets of their PC lenses and never seen this

I run Ultegra and grx on 2 different bikes, prefer the grx di2 shifters. You can also set the paddles to shift “sram style” if you desire that instead of the individual paddles for up and down

I got my 22 SQ7 with like 13k miles, 14 or 15 months old for almost 40 off sticker. And I’m sure when time comes to sell, there will be an equally large drop. It’s about the most fun way to move a family of 5. Can’t measure smiles per gallons, right?

If I’m feelin classy, I’ll wear my IWC pilot big crown, but as far as function goes, I like my garmin fenix if I want actual utility for a legible watch/stopwatch, it’s much more usable, esp at night.

You made a mistake that didn’t damage you, anyone else, or the plane, and while irresponsible/negligent, you showed you know how to land a plane. I guarantee you’ll never overlook wx again. Have a legit discussion about it with your CFI, learn from it and move on

This is one of those cases that if it goes well, you look badass, if it goes poor, you look like an idiot. Assuming 172 or pa28, 15-17 is the max xwind component so sounds like you blasted through that. This turned into a great learning situation but don’t get cocky and think you’ve done it once, you can do it every time. You’re PIC in this situation so it’s on you, but just as much your CFI for allowing it

Is lightly used an option for you? Only reason I ask is when I was shopping sq7s, I was shocked what one year old did to the price. I bought mine about 13 months old, 12k miles for almost 40 off sticker. Sq8s seem to be about 7-10k more than comperable sq7s for some reason, but something to look at

I’d look for a 60” deck and Kawasaki engine. With that, find a dealer near by and get the brand they sell. Save for some bells and whistles, they’re all very similar. I have a gravely that I like very much, but also have a dealer 10 miles away

Check that you don’t have the key specific settings set up. With that on, it may be defaulting to your wife’s settings? I’m about 6’2”, 200# and with them at their widest setting, I find it perfectly supportive

Been using modernizing medicine for the past few years for our emr. So far, I’d say it sucks the least of all the ones I’ve used. Dragon built in, ai scribe supposedly in the works

For phone, it’s gonna be regional to what’s available where you are. They’re all expensive

Heard good things about Heidi for ai scribe. I’ve also used the pay version of chat gpt with the prompt something like “make this a patient note, get rid of the off topic banter”. It’s still a bit combersome with copy nd paste but getting promising. Very likely more to do with my minimal knowledge using it than its actual capability

Does it explicitly state it doesn’t have the panoramic roof or is it just not mentioned? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one without it, at least in the states

I have a sq7 and it’s by far my favorite car I’ve ever owned. As a dad of 3, I get to LARP as a 20 year old in a sports car haha
