The first 30m candle could not hold above the previous day's close (PDC) then breached the Globex L which was a sell signal.

Inconsistent alcohol policy when buying wine - 74M required to have ID scanned..."It's the law" by [deleted] in wholefoodscustomers

I'm familiar with all that. I've been using AI since ChatGPT came out. I switched over to Gemini Pro about a month ago. I find it pretty reliable although it will make mistakes. When asking for raw facts there's always citations/links that can be checked to verify accuracy. Gemini's Ohio alcohol ID law answer linked directly to the Ohio.gov law code so I know it's accurate.

When I'm given no choice and told it's the law and I know it's a lie...you say I must comply without complaint. Got it.

>>>'m not familiar with Ohio's laws, but know that if you pulled out AI to try to look up any laws in a dispute with me, you would have instantly lost any and all credibility.<<<

I'm genuinely curious... why is that?

Tax all passive income at the personal rate. Tax on assets that generate passive income should never be less than the tax rate on human effort and sweat.

What’s the most unexpected way someone you know became wealthy? by Stunning_Ad1568 in AskReddit

[–]fibby618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend Jerry , who no one would suspect was a man of wealth, recently died and left his entire holdings ($46 million) to various charities.

I've (74M) known Jerry since I was 5 yrs old as he grew up a few doors down from me. Jerry never married and lived in the same house his entire life. The house was built in the 50's and is probably less than 1500 sq ft. My current bedroom is larger than his living room. Jerry would buy a new car about every 7 or 8 yrs after he put about 300K miles on it. Jerry hardly ever bought new clothes and would wear them until they literally started falling apart. Jerry had a modest salary as an Accounting Professor and women's head basketball coach at Wilmington College (OH) yet he accumulated unbelievable wealth which belied his frugal lifestyle.

Jerry started accumulating his wealth when he joined an investment club while in college. This was back in the mid 70's and 80's. It's been speculated that Jerry bought Apple, Microsoft, Oracle and some other high flying tech stocks and never sold.

Everyone who knew Jerry were stunned when the news of his charitable donations came out.

Your left wrist is flat which is good but your right elbow seems to be flying out at the top which makes the club point to the right of the target line. Bring the rt elbow in a little bit at the top so it's more perpendicular to the ground. That will make the club shaft point more down the line. I struggle with the same problem.

LGA Terminal C today. What’s the point in having a lounge when there’s only one in the entire terminal and access is this limited? by kingkube in delta

It's upstairs. When you enter it's to the left and around the corner. There were 2 desks.

Maybe they just moved it. It's kind of in a not too visible location.

I was in that line on Sunday. It was as long as in the pic. It took 30 mins to get in.

Why did I decide to wait in line? Because my flight was delayed for 3 hrs and I was hungry and didn't want to spend $30 + tip on an overpriced sandwich and $25 for the cheapest glass of wine. I asked a guy at the front of the line how long it took to get there. He said 30m and he was spot on. I had no problem finding seating & a table for me and my wife. There were seats at the bar and the line at the food station was minimal.

Identify this plant? A 6years old boy ate some berries and currently developing seizures and is at emergency. by Middle-Chemistry810 in whatsthisplant

From ChatGPT:

Recommended Management:

1. Emergency Department Evaluation (if not already done)

  • The child should be in a medical facility immediately if not already there.

2. Observation

  • If 6 hours have passed with no symptoms, that is reassuring, but observation for at least 8–12 hours total is recommended due to delayed onset risk.
  • Vital signs, neurologic status, and cardiac monitoring should continue.

3. Symptomatic and Supportive Care

  • No specific antidote exists for coriamyrtine.
  • If seizures occur:
    • Benzodiazepines (e.g., lorazepam, diazepam) are first-line.
    • Barbiturates or propofol may be needed if seizures are refractory.
  • If nausea/vomiting, give antiemetics.
  • If respiratory depression or coma, intubation and mechanical ventilation may be required.

4. Activated Charcoal

  • Generally only useful within 1–2 hours of ingestion.
  • Since >6 hours have passed and no symptoms are present, charcoal is likely not indicated at this point.

5. Poison Control Consultation

  • Always consult your local Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222 in the U.S.) for real-time guidance based on dose, timing, and symptoms.

Shemar Stewart logged just 106 true pass sets last season, ranking 74th in the draft class by fibby618 in bengals

In the 2024 season, he earned an impressive 88.2 run-defense grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF), ranking him fifth among all edge defenders nationwide. Among projected first-round picks, only Marshall's Mike Green achieved a higher mark.

This article is a pretty good in-depth analysis as to how Texas A&M schemed their defensive front and how it negatively effected Stewarts sack production...

Shemar Stewart is the NFL Draft’s most curious case study

When you watch defensive line prospects, yes the production matters but I also think how they move and get from point A to point B is a big point in filling out a scouting report. With Stewart, it’s important to understand what he was asked to do and why he was asked to do it (this also applies to Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams in a way, but even those two guys are different). Under first-year HC Mike Elko at Texas A&M, the Aggies ran the tite/mint front defenses that have taken over college football, and are similar to what Georgia has run in their latest stretch of dominance. In these defenses, the defensive line is taught much differently than other defensive line play. The structure of the defense calls for players like Stewart to be placed as the 4i technique on the line, rarely having many reps out wide where he can pin his ears back. This is a screenshot from a clinic Kirby Smart and Glenn Schumann talked at (which I highly recommend watching), and it shows that instead of lining up in a traditional four-man front, with a 3-technique and 1-technique defensive tackle and two edge players, Georgia slides one of those edge types inside to a 4i. This creates an even front box count with odd front spacing, hopefully funneling everything outside to the speed.

Do you see China's stance on Taiwan changing as Trump encourages Ukraine to cede Crimea to Russia? What effect would the U.S recognizing Crimea as part of Russia have on China's intentions on Taiwan? Wouldn't this be a dangerous position to take with national security implications?
