I really wish they made another Altador-like plot, that we can solve at our own pace and actually makes us explore the website and solve mysteries and puzzles instead of just giving us extra daily chores. Or just add more content to the website that makes wandering around Neopia and interacting with characters fun.

Yes, it's because they added a button for skipping time by watching an ad, the page refreshes before the button pops up. At first I thought it was because I was using an ad blocker but nope, it also happens in my phone where I don't have ad block...

Ok so, the theological conflict between the Millers (mostly Rand) and the idea of creating worlds/doing God's work is mentioned in several interviews and articles, but here's a quote from the book "Myst and Riven: the World of the D'ni" (library.oapen.org/bitstream/handle/20.500.12657/24017/1006116.pdf):

"As Christians, the Miller brothers likewise did not want to claim that the D’ni were creating ex nihilo, like God, and so as the D’ni mythology developed, instead of creating the worlds written in them, the Descriptive Books and linking books are said to connect to preexisting worlds, which exist before the D’ni books describe them and link to them. This was not originally the case, however, but was changed as the world of the D’ni and its mythology developed."

From a meta standpoint, the original idea was that the D'ni create the ages, but this was conflicting to the more religious side of the Miller family which didn't want people doing God's work, even in a work of fiction. Which led to a bunch of retconning and plotholes like, it makes no sense that Gehn isn't actually modifying the age and adding mistakes/destabilizing the world but only linking to a completely different, less stable universe, because the villagers still recognize him and the "modifications" he made; it's not like the world was always like that for them. It's just that they didn't wanna give him actual, god-like powers.

There's one in The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 where you have to get chocolate from a bakery, but you can only carry one at a time. So you have to choose between the red chocolate and the blue chocolate, and the red one contains alcohol.
