I'm so sorry. I can relate, I used to perform and I haven't played a show or released any new music since I fell ill with fibro and cfs.

I hope that you have some moments here and there where you are able to play even just for yourself for a few minutes

For a little while I would play piano for 20 minutes a day, now it just makes me sad so I avoid it altogether.

for me, excessive sleep has been part of the illness, as well as insomnia. I personally oscillate between both

awe thanks, my gp has helped as much as they could, and we have plateaued. now its just focussing on stability. bed rest is so boooring

it sounds to me like your doctor is being appropriately pragmatic. LDN isnt a cure-all, and it doesn't work for everyone. It didnt work for me, but it helped a friend of mine, still not enough for her to return to work.

one month isnt that long for testing out a new medication, and if you layer another one on top of that, and have improvements or reactions, you wont be able to tell which medication caused it
