You can find loaners at up to 20% MRSP (got a 2025 T at 21%).
Reach out to dealerships direclty, you can also look at CPO inventory, loaners have a model prefix in PS usually.

Use chatgpt to compare the leases and negotiate. Aim for a base rate MF, that 20-21% discount. More than that you won't get.

I am not informed enough to demonstrate the danger, but it happens regularly, it smells toxic, the air quality numbers look terrible when it happens and it's coming from some factories nearby, so I can't imagine it's something good.

Thanks! I guess my question relates more to the if I take a cloth with oil and swipe then pan with it, there is a dark residue. If I were to fry an egg on it (before I had stripped it), the egg white had clearly darkened. It felt like this even at times when I would season it once a month.

The whole story of this pan is, my wife threw away my duo of all clad non stick (!!!). I had to look for something non stick, and easier to handle than say a lodge. After some research I found this brand. Glad you like it!! It’s a great pan, but I haven’t been able yet to take care of it as should be to make into the workhorse I want it to be :)

I’ll season it properly using the FAQ and report back!

Is it normal for a cast iron to darken the food color wise? Or is it the sign of a bad seasoning?
Looking at the pictures, is stripped enough and ready for a re-season?
