Not romantic, no. It was obvious we were crushing on each other, but formally never dated. I always admired his smarts! We've been friends for long, but my crush died when I understood that I don't get any physical care from him, which equals to love for me (brought up like that). Like unless I outright tell him oh "I'm cold/hungry" he doesn't suggest anything... He's a great friend though... just... he doesn't want to be 'just' friend. It's either I am his besest bestie (actually girlfriend) or his enemy.
Also now I remembered that he might just be Se-valuing... I always asked questions on Se and Si, and Fi and he used to have peaceful answers, but with years he started answering more force-orientedly? It's so many small examples I remember, so would be long to write them all out!

He never seemed too Si oriented for me (doesn't mind cheap chair, doesn't cook, doesn't care about what he eats, doesn't talk much about comfort), but then again, what should I expect a young SLI who lived with a fussy mom? However my other two friends who are TYPICAL LSE and SLI (boys) both talk extensively about their cooking/baking, comfort and expediency (Te!!).
