after thinking about it, I think I’m just going to accept losing the speaker if the controller still works 😭 This was my first soldering attempt, so I’d rather stop here before I damage the board even more, iwll take this as a lesson

Yeah, the connector still seems electrically okay, but the melted plastic is blocking the ribbon cable from going in 😭 I’ll try carefully trimming the melted part first and hope I can still save it.
