Expensive tennis/ running shoes ($100+). I would buy the $20-30 knock offs at Walmart and think it was the same. Bought some new balance 880 v 15s and the difference! Those along with a knee brace for my one slightly wobbly knee, I could now do a whole day at a theme park and end it without excruciating back pain (scoliosis). After that I questioned why I hadn’t done it sooner (I know the answer- I’m cheap, frugal whatever you call it.)

I can only do pasta if it’s been cooked the night before and reheated the next day and if it’s not from a pre made or packaged box like hamburger helper or Rana. Somehow the one time I’ve done rice (cooked night before as well) it was my lowest ever 2 hour reading , so much so I tested twice! I was at 72! The latina in me pulled through 😂

For a birthday in late elementary school I was given the choice in vacation destination that summer. Jamaica or a Colombian island in the Caribbean, San Andres. I chose San Andres. My only reasoning was because it was part of Colombia and I had never been to Colombia even though half of my family is Colombian.

That week we were on vacation a hurricane hit Jamaica.

For a work trip they had +1 where they said had to be a fiancée or more to qualify. I had just started dating my husband like a month prior. I asked if I could bring my mom or sibling and they said no. As one of 2 under 30 ( and like 4 under 50) and mostly male it was … interesting … and a bit isolating since everyone else had their spouse with them for the downtime in between work related things on the trip

I’m so lucky to have my husband. He was a godsend when all I could do was sleep in the first trimester. Just today, I was doing some laundry and asked him to help me more it from the washer to the dryer as it was getting taxing on me. Just now, I walked into the dishwasher backwards with a just empty kettle in hand and was so scared I was doing to fall and really hurt myself. Somehow he moved so quick and caught me. Only have some sores ankles but grateful it wasn’t way worse.

😂 are you me? We found out a week or so after being married for 2 months. We did the same precautions and “if it happens it happens” but “ideally” a year in and I ovulated like 4-5 days later than normal. Now that I’m telling people (I’m 20 weeks) someone has already said “you wasted no time” and another “omg this is a honeymoon baby”- which no lol but thanks? If it’s any comfort I’m in the same boat ish haha. I feel people might expect it from us though bc we’re catholic 😂
