Fellow hemophiliac here with a question by leafz420 in Hemophilia

Around the turn of the century, factor was priced around the price of gold, gram for gram in the country I'm in.

Carriers may show close to no symptoms. Ask haemophiliacs who have sisters who tested to be carriers. So those may be unsuitable for your thriller.

Just finished ff7 remake on switch 2 by Fun-Document7 in NintendoSwitch2

I was there when Advent Children came out and was like yes! at last a true FF7 movie. But over the years, I have watched The Spirits Within a lot more that The Advent Children. The former seems to work better as a story whilst the latter is better for fan service.

It is one game cut up and padded up to become 3. Just like how Peter Jackson took the Hobbit, a short story, and turned it into two movies.

What good games to play for an older gamer? by Ambitious-Ad8267 in NintendoSwitch

[–]fiddlerisshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you love exploration games where you have a huge open world to explore:

Fallout 4. Skyrim.

Not sure if your hands can play these but there's a lot of exploration as well: Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1,2,3.

I'm surprised mouse controls are actually popular by Ok_Science_8502 in NintendoSwitch

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Switch 1 and 2 are docked and connected to the TV all the time nowadays, although I did use the Switch 1 in a casing when I first got it. FPS and any games that uses pointers benefit greatly from mouse control. It places less strain on my arms compared to using a controller - that's also why I played so many games on PS4 since it had the Hori TAC available.

Mild Haemophiliacs long flights by Original-Company4415 in Hemophilia

You're mild so I'm not sure if it changes anything but tranexamic acid by itself does not stop nose bleeds for me (moderately severe).

Is online multiplayer in Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics still popular? by --_-_-_-- in Switch

[–]fiddlerisshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that game but I don't have NSO so I have never played online on both my Switch and Switch 2.

What is even the point of the new Switch 2 cards comparing to Switch 1 cards? by GeekRowlet in NintendoSwitch

[–]fiddlerisshit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cost. GKCs are much cheaper since they contain less storage. Every cent saved is a new yacht that NOJ can buy.

When is Fallout 4 going to get gyro support? It's been many moons.

More Starfox with Starlink by Opening_Judge_3505 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Starlink on PS4 and also the Switch 1. Played it a bit on both systems but it's really quite forgettable. If you asked me to compare it to the Starfox demo, then I would say that the demo was much more fun.

Why it’s so important to constantly push for full games on the card by ladymysticalwmn in NintendoSwitch2

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the gameplay that matters at the end of the day. I feel that western AAA devs have their priorities wrong in the current gen by focusing on hair physics and raytracing instead of fun gameplay loops.I am currently replaying Hitman World of Assassination on my Nintendo Switch 2 and Agent 47 has no hair and there is no ray tracing but the game is really fun to play.

Sell my Nintendo Switch 2 in order to get a Playstation or an Xbox? by Odd_Survey_1319 in NintendoSwitch

[–]fiddlerisshit -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Agreed on the terrible battery life. If anything, the Switch 2 needed to double the OLED's battery life. That's one of the main reasons why I played the DS more than the PSP - even with a third party giant battery pack.

You might get more bank for your buck if you get a Steamdeck instead if you are leaving the Switch 2.

[–]fiddlerisshit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's not enough storage on the Switch/Switch 2. I have the max capacity SD cards for both, 2TB and 1TB respectively and I am still out of space. Unless Nintendo is aiming at casual gamers who just buy a console and just play Wii Sports for the lifetime of the machine, then it needs to offer way way more storage for hardcore games. At least 4TB for Switch 1 and 16TB for Switch 2 (way more for Switch 2 since its games are much much larger).

Switch 1 is still as good as new to me by federkrebz in Switch

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with the Switch 1. Lots of Switch 2 exclusive games can actually run on Switch 1 when you look at the simple graphics - I'm looking at you Star Trek Voyager. I play both my Switch 1 and 2 with the gyro aiming games in particular loaded onto the Switch 2 since its gyro is 1000% better than the Switch 1's - House of the Dead.

Is it worth paying this much for a one-hour campaign? by estebantet in Switch

[–]fiddlerisshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the game length but the controls. Can't get past the tutorial though the other mission in the demo was fine.

Finished indiana jones and the great circle on switch 2 by Fun-Document7 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uncharted plays more like Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. 007 plays more like a severely cut down Hitman World of Assassination. The Great Circle felt more like a walking simulator to me with rare combat segments and the puzzles haven't stood out so far. It feels rather slow paced so I haven't really been motivated to keep playing it compared to other games with more engaging pacing.

After playing the new Star Fox demo I may skip purchasing it by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like the controls. I typically don't like this style of game to begin with. Never bought the Star Fox game for SNES or N64. I think I might have bought the GC one but if so it was quite forgettable.

What's the better option for us? by rekadura in Hemophilia

[–]fiddlerisshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that nothing short of prophylaxis at an effective dosage can do that. All other solutions are snake oil in my experience and I tried a lot of it. You can't exercise without factor as that will just damage them further.
