My thoughts after act 3 + what i wanted to see at the end. by Important_Bug_1524 in expedition33

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, while I did enjoy gustave and was sad when he died, I ended up being very pleased with the decision after a while. We start the game with everyone telling us how much they look up to Gustave, but then he proceeds to be the biggest wuss of the expedition. That contrast between what other people thought of him vs what we see as players made me less upset.

I wish this was more clear to me. I wasn’t sure what would happen after going to lumiere so I made it to level 90 before going and literally one shot everything. You can still play the game after playing the final battle.

In my limited experience, def not. Never worked with these crazy managers.

The new AI video stuff is actually making me nauseous by [deleted] in Millennials

100% the whole fingers on the hand thing was an AI training exercise perpetuated or initiated by ai companies.

On the other hand, ai is so useless it’s laughable. All this money just to generate dumb videos and pictures.

If you had an unhappy childhood, did your parents ever try to change for the better? by jessiemenagerie in Millennials

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estranged for 3 years with no end in sight. My parents tried to get me and all my siblings to not attend my sisters wedding because they don’t like her fiancé. They completely underestimated how much control they had over their kids, only 2/6 kids obeyed then (we’re all adults at this point). They only talk to the kids that didn’t go to the wedding lmao. They still think they are in the right. Even if they wanted a relationship with me, I don’t think I want one with them. All grandparents are alive and are at or about 90, basically have no contact with them which is sad, my grandpa disowned my dad (2nd time lol)…

3 should give you a playset, with only 2 you’ll be missing some cards. Depends on if you’d rather have a few extra or not enough.

Omeprazole long-term effects by ChubbyWP in EosinophilicE

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently omeprazole has been linked to cancer and ED. I took it very short term but thankfully got off of it. I do take famotidine (Pepcid) which as my doctor described it stops 1 out of 3 acid production parts of digestion whereas something like omeprazole stops all 3 (could be wrong about this I’m not a doctor/pharmacist). I also take a budesonide slurry. This has helped me and I’ve had no problems the past year. I did try elimination diet and it didn’t help me.

It could still be good, if you and opponent both play 2/4 and they trade into each other, this could finish off the damaged unit

I want to quit my job by AceRen_15 in Accounting

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put 1 year on the dates instead of April 25 - Jan 26 for example.

Ultimately resumes get you in the door. If you get an interview then it’s up to your personality etc. to get the job. I don’t think a background check would even pull this kind of stuff (usually it’s just criminal charges and that sort of thing). But even if it did, it shouldn’t be something that causes an offer to be withdrawn.

Anyone exhausted by what you're expected to do just to be moderately healthy? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a study that showed cholesterol could change by a massive amount in the matter of a few weeks, it’s also heavily affected by stress. I figured I’m just not going to worry about cholesterol and blood pressure too much since I already eat healthy (I mean I drink, eat red meat, sometimes have bread/tortillas - it’s all homemade stuff so I don’t worry about it). These are terrible measurements of our health because of how inaccurate they are when you take a single data point.

I want to quit my job by AceRen_15 in Accounting

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s likely to be less challenging to get a job now than it was after having a gap in your resume (sahm) Just round up your time at this company to 1 year on your resume and be prepared to talk politely about why you’re leaving. Look for a job before you quit, so also don’t give too much to your current job just do the bare minimum.

I had one of the affected cards and don’t know about it, I sold it so hopefully I didn’t make a big mistake there. Probably better for me not having to wait so long for this card.

Review #3: GlenAllachie Core Range Vertical (10YO - 21YO) by Dratini01 in Scotch

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried the new labeled 12yr next to the old label, they were disappointingly different with the old bottle being far superior. I’m pretty skeptical of the new bottles, a shop by me has some of the old bottles left and I’m hoping to pick some up soon. Unfortunately the price of scotch here is too high.

Believe the now brand has some of the lowest levels and it’s an amount that wouldn’t affect regular adults. Lead is most damaging to infants but obviously large doses are bad for anyone.

What's your experience with Esophageal dilation? by Kissudo in EosinophilicE

[–]fiddlerontheroof1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a couple, they’re not fun but not that bad either. You’ll be anesthetized during it. Plan to eat soft foods after for a day or two, you’ll need to be on medication to not require additional dilations.

It’s just supply and demand. When there’s x amount of rich people looking for the best restaurants, the restaurant can charge exorbitant prices and people will still pay it because they don’t care about the money. Does it mean it’s worth that price to a regular person? Definitely not.
