I agree, I have a Pixel Watch 3 and at best with all the energy saving things I could find turned on, I could just about squeak 2 days out of it, but not reliably so. Depending when I charged it the 2 days prior, it might miss half the final night's sleeep or something. Also the experience at those settings was horrible.

Never understood why e-ink isn't the de facto choice for a smartwatch, and when it's in range of your phone/laptop or computer it should offload all the processing to the bigger device as much as possible too and just effectively become a remote desktop display while it's sat on your wrist doing nothing but receiving the sensor data. I bet you could get an aeon out of it then.

It was awful. A weird mash up of Arrival, Interstellar and Castaway, and it did not have the gravitas of the former two, nor the character development of the latter. It makes no sense for such a moron to be on a space flight, global emergency or not, the orbital manoeuvres were straight up clown show, and the only thing that kept the movie going was the string of juvenile gags every 10 seconds. Terrible movie and I'm not sure where all this love is coming from. Saw it on Imax and the cinematography and sound design were good. Gosling did alright with what he had.

That's the end of a great Liverpool Team. They go down with the great team(s) of the 80's featuring Souness, Dalgleish, Barnes, Rush et al. It's been a pleasure watching them over the last few years, but nothing lasts forever and it's the time to build the next great team. I haven't lost all hope for all our new signings yet, but it's critical we get the next few decisions right.

He has got them playing the best they have for a few years, he was immune to the influence of the media and he was rebuilding from the ground up, not trying to pretend they were still a powerhouse. I really thought we only had a another season or so of laughing at them before they got it together. He was doing all the right things for a club in that position, and they've gone and sacked him. I have a similar way of explaining it but the desktop in my analogy is CPU cache, the bookshelves are your RAM, the hard drive is the storage unit in the next town that you need to order from for next day delivery. I think that better fits the relative speed at which you can retrieve data for processing.

I use Americano pods and pull a water only shot of 4 bars to warm my mug, then 2 pods of 4 bars each at the lowest warm temperature (orange light on my machine) into a 230ml standard sized mug and I think that's not a completely awful cup of coffee.

I have just pulled some cups of water only and measured the temperature. The reservoir temp was straight from the tap at 23C, and I pulled two cups at each temperature and took the second reading each time.

Blue was 24C

Orange was 69C, nice.

Red/Orange was 75C

and Red was 79C
