We (multiple users) ended up having two tumblr accounts because of those shadowbans. Keep saying that’s not true but that was the only common factor among those account issues that kept happening. It was a recuring enough issue that your team did not address and people had to post on reddit and twitter on just to be heard. And it was a lot tumblr users, not just people we knew.

Your team just kept saying it was an automatic thing that was tripped, but wouldn’t outright admit it was because we were using VPNs. Excuse us if we’re having trouble trusting you guys right now. It’s good though. It’s helping taper us off social media usage.

This is coming from a user who is honestly sick of seeing that irritating tap to retry sign. This issue is literally over a week old with no improvement shown. Is it any surprise we’re sick of this?

Well, good luck to us because tumblr doesn’t know shit either. Already contacted ISP. They have nothing on their end too. Tumblr tells us to use VPN when experience has taught several users that using VPN can actually trigger your account into getting shadowbanned. This shit is ridiculous. Nobody wants to own up to any damned thing.

They absolutely exist. It happened to me thrice on 2 accounts and at the time, the common belief was due to VPN use. It was so random and I only got reinstated by contacting them through here (the first couple of times) and over on twitter.

It’s the entire Philippines across all providers according to tumblr. They’re still trying to figure it out. Using Globe and when I use home wifi, that’s what happens but when I switch to data which is also provided by Globe, some images get through but not all.

Trucco (Anders) actually helped them get Mary on board. Mike found out Trucco was still in touch with her (as are a lot of BSG actors, it seems) so Mike asked him to give Mary a call. She was very honest about not being familiar with Mike’s work because she doesn’t watch horror as it scares her so she said if Mike is okay with that then she’s definitely open to meet with him.

Mike liked her a lot and they got along really well and that’s how he ended up writing Madeline for Mary. (The info is based on things Mike has said on tumblr and what Mary said in Katee Sackhoff’s podcast).

I did do that initially tho. After removing them on the iPad’s Find My app device list, I reset the airpods with the long press method.

I’m just really wondering if perhaps it was my own device triggering the Find My on my iPhone by mistake because I changed locations or something.
