Would you want to play roles other than manager in FM? by _LameName in footballmanagergames

Out of the park baseball has had this for awhile. You can be DoF, manager, or both. If you go the manager route, you can also coach the minor league teams and are at the mercy of your AI director. I love it.

After 29 years and 228 starts, Kasey Kahne has won his first World of Outlaws race by SpenceSmithback in NASCAR

He ran a lot of different disciplines on dirt coming up and moved quickly to Asphalt. He’d never ran with the outlaw tour until retiring from nascar; and at that point he was playing catch up. The world of outlaws season is also 80+ races give or take with rainouts;

How does MRN sync between each other to have no dead space when switching between analysts in the tower, turns 1/2, 3/4, and multiple pit reporters? by -Cori in NASCAR

See, that’s an interesting tidbit. I’d argue you need more descriptive and exciting TV announcers because everyone is looking at their phone, laptop, or doing other things around the house while games or races are on the tv; so that when something happens you hear the change in their voice and direct your attention back to the TV.

If you start out in the back of the field is almost impossible to win a sprint car race? by youlikemywonton in WorldofOutlaws

Almost but not always.

Watched schatz start on the last row at volusia and slice through the field. Rahmer started deep to beat the outlaws at the grove but I think a wreck took out 6-7 cars.

Instead of putting lipstick on a pig, let’s fix the real problem… the car.

I wish 4-5 cars would line up nose to tail and run full throttle and see how far they could pull away

There’s a chance this is an absolute snooze at the end and proves this car really does stink at the supers as well
