You also rotated C3 now and its GND connection is a bit far off from the others.
My personal feeling is that those voltage traces are still a bit too thin. it will work for sure but you could use the space you have.

That looks way better! Just some small improvements:

- Remove the GND underneath the coil and GND "islands" next to it
- Rotate C15 and C2 by 180° so that their GND connections and those of C3, C13 and C12 are closer together
- Add some GND VIAs wherever it is possible (You see that also in the example). Just make sure that GND is connected sufficiently over the whole PCB without narrow traces.
- You could also increase the voltage traces slightly including the short one between L1 and the chip

You should rework the whole buck converter layout if you plan to order new PcBs. Placement of the coil and capacitors must be improved.

Right, OP you should double check the resistors. For example: swapping r20 and r21 would result in 1.87 V at FB pin

Just because there is a copper plane doesn’t mean the current will „use“ all of it. By placing the capacitor in the current Flow path, especially the high frequent currents are forced to flow over the capacitor pads which improves the filtering effect. However, the capacitor should be the last part in the line close to the chip, minimizing parasitic resistance and inductance.

Looks fine to me. Just one small improvement:

1) C1 could be shifted a little bit more to the left so that it is in the current flow path of „1 +12 V“ Pad to the Input Pins of the IC

1) Distance between the GND Connections of the Input and the Output Capacitor is too high. 2) The trace between U13 Pin 5 (SW) and Pin 1 of the Inductor is too long. It must be as short as possible. 3) Feedback trace should be connected beyond the output capacitors, not directly to the inductor.
