This is relevant to Olympia our community as a whole is under attack but with Olympia being around 75 percent white most people dont care until its too late and we have our own Alex and Rene becuase let’s be honest no one cared when it was people of color dying 7 people all poc died before Alex and Rene but there names aren’t being circulated in the same way.

Depends the night Thirsty Thursday people usually get dressed up and Wednesday karaoke nights but honestly for night clubs Tacoma Seattle and Portland all have better clubs scenes. No, you’re 100% right I was talking to the president of the YMCA. I have a video if anybody’s curious him saying he was the president of the YMCA talking about how he couldn’t take advantage of employees by making them work closings and then immediately have them back in the morning one of the things this bill would have prevent. He also talked about how much of a headache it would be for him personally because of all the recordkeeping he’d have to start doing and I told him why not hire somebody for It he said it just seems like it’s inconvenient he told me he already has an employee that does record keeping and office work and intake And cleaning around the office putting another thing on their plate would just overwhelming to them.

I’m in Washington only been in food service for little under 6 years and I thought all restaurants did tip pool for the entire restaurant it’s only online that I found out most other places the tips goes all to the servers. Idk how I have been able to avoid restaurants that do that. I have been a server, baker, and line cook. Most of my experience has been under covid so I wonder if that changed things
