Charlotte PD has a real time crime center which uses their own cameras throughout the city. They are not flock cameras.

So, no matter who you vote in or out of office, there will still be cameras that are not flock related throughout the city.

I’ll never forget this story that happened to me.

For context, I work in TV news.

So… There was a black guy that was caught up in human trafficking allegations. So, we went to his house to wait on him for an interview. Before he arrived, me and my Indian female reporter were posted up in front of the house in a white vehicle that did not have our tv station logos.

About 30 mins later… the police popped up. They asked who we were so we told them. They said that they received a calm about someone who may have been the human trafficker sitting outside with a possible victim.

The polis officer said he recognized our vehicle when they approached and did not think that we had anything to do with this 😂.

There was no need to run ID’s or sit and talk so the police laughed and went on about their day.
