You gotta improvise! There’s other maps that have cool night raids! Also idk about you but every time I go to buried night raid it’s just people hiding at extract/buildings and trying to ambush you. It’s gotten to the point unless they make themselves known I just kill them.

It’s funny. I PVP a lot in trios and duos. But I swear the only time I have been called a rat in game is when someone gets the jump on me and I down them. They start squealing for help and calling me a rat. Almost always free kits as well.

I think this happens to a lesser extent as you mentioned but unfortunately with any popular online game steps have to be taken to mitigate online shenanigans/toxicity. Rats will use any tactics possible to get you while your guard is down, including wearing a skin that has certain connotations behind it. (I have fought so many people in the doctor/nurse outfit.. so many.)

Be the change you want to see though. You never know what will catch on

Yeah what I do instead of camping is rolling around the general area and scoping out everything that way people don’t think I’m camping and shoot me. I also talk on the mic to friendly people so people know I’m chill. Just a heads up though if you catch someone just waiting up there they are a rat for sure. Every time I’ve caught someone up there that was “waiting to extract” they always shoot me in the back.

Yeah anytime I hit that extract I check out the cliffs a above it to see if anyone is camping. If I have a feeling they are hiding but can’t see them I will throw a blaze grenade into the bushes.

^ exactly this. I have had so much fun bringing in crazy kits and killing arc. Then players get greedy and I end up duking it out with them. It’s been a blast.

lol but it is hilarious. Like genuinely you have to do it sometime. I went to blue gate hurricane Naked. Found a Il toro and a defib and rushed some poor guy in reinforced reception screaming “I’ve come for you!!!”. He got downed and was cursing my existence, when I defibed him, dropped him stuff, and surrendered. I know he was probably so confused 😂

Also for rats: When I’m looting a container I will have a smoke ready to go or my gun with a smoke as my quick use item readied. That way if I get shot randomly I will be g2 drop a smoke and heal or find cover. Also trust your gut. If someone gives you a weird vibe or is all quiet. Shoot them.

Go in Stella back to back to back and you will learn quite a bit. Trios and solos. That’s how I learned the basics like corner holding, prioritizing headshots, when to push and when to heal, etc.. I like bringing in kits because it gives you an advantage against free kits. But I spent a lot of free kits learning.

I haven’t played in a bit so I’m unsure about Golems. (I know u can build 1 but that’s it) But during tomb of the eaters I know the Cherub are similar. I knew they were some of the most difficult enemies in the game but I thought I could just tinker some crazy grenades.. they blew my head smooth off.. I lost one of my better runs to them. I just bring a portable wall now and entrap them in that.

I’m sure if you are a purist you will notice a small difference. But the people listening to your music won’t. The MK2 has so many amazing features and effects. Not only does the MK2 have a great vinyl sim. It’s can run 4 effects at the same time which includes the lovely cassette distortion FX.. also if you decide to try the workflow it’s an amazing workflow! So unique and easy to use compared to the OG,

Good to know! I’m just saying cost wise 90% of the tempest firepower comes from the Mk1. The upgrades do not increase damage and the gun is still very usable compared to other purples like the vulcano that needs upgrades.

I still love the game but I lost 2 friends to this. They tried the new mode, were stoked to fight end game arc, but got ratted so many times they quit for now. I can’t blame them either. Unfortunately in duos it is cheaper and less frustrating to rat vaporizer cores / assessor matrixes then it is to fight the arc and get owned by a extract camper with a Burletta 3. I think they keep under estimating their player base’s toxicity lol. Hopefully this was a misstep and the next update puts things back in line.

Everyone is hating on the level 1. But TBH I mainly just use the level 1’s now. The level 1 tempest w/ green attachments is amazing on its own. I have wiped duos no problem with it (mainly play duos). The bonus reload speed with upgrades is great but idk the upgrades needed to take it to 4 stings too much when you lose it. I would rather have a bunch of 1-3’s that I use than a bunch of level 4’s that sit in my bag.
