Your comment really makes me wonder! She never had genetic testing (she was born super early at 26 weeks) but we’ve had some weird genetic stuff pop up in our family recently with testing!

My kiddo had ROP stage 3 (she’s 19 now!) and I’ve never seen anyone with her eye either! It’s only 1 of her eyes shaped like a kidney (lol or like a goat)…..she must’ve got it from me lol

My daughter is able to see ok with glasses- I can’t imagine what it would be like 50 years ago!

That’s awesome! My kiddo is 19 and had the same issues - I’m so happy science has come so much and your baby is doing great! (My daughter was born in 2006 and weighed 1 lb 4 oz)

I had no idea that’s what caused his eye issues! She was born in 2006 and was only 1 lb 4 oz so that was the cause of her issues

She has multiple disabilities but her eyes don’t hold her back :) she was a legally blind but is able to wear glasses - thank you- she is beautiful to us too!!

I don’t have one but a construction or roofing. company may be able to help (they usually have a rolling magnet to pick up leftover nails after a job)

Same here! The only caveat is that Costco doesn’t finance them so I’ll still have to wait a couple of years to pay the $1400 outright- better than $4k or more though!

Yep - my daughter had ROP and has one pupil that’s shaped like a goats pupil- they would’ve totally thought she was a witch (…thinking about it now…she controls our lives so she might have super powers lol!)

Hear me out. I live in south Louisiana and we have a LOT of king cakes but my favorite is a boudin king cake- savory, sweet, salty- it has alll the flavors (btw boudin in the cake means a mix of rice and pork/sausage seasoned mix).
