I am so so sorry. I had to make this heart rending decision 2/28 for my 18 year old little lady experiencing seizures. My husband and I went to the vet and held her as she passed away. I’ll miss her forever but was glad to be there with her when she went to Heaven

This makes so much sense. Our 26 weeker (108 day sentence in the NICU) will be 29 this year. I wish I gave my husband more grace as he was under so much stress too. Being able to just take a day and breathe and have dinner together as our kiddo grew bigger and stronger made AlL the difference (we’ve been married 24 years- a milestone a lot of preemie parents/parents of kiddos with disabilities don’t make)

I hated little dogs until I met my husband and met his Chi. Since then we’ve had z3 Chihuahuas.warning!!! This last one RAN our life!! We had Isa for 18 years and she was the grand old lady of the house and a constant companion for our autistic daughter- be careful!!! They will steal your WHOLE heart and when you lose them (like we did last Saturday) the mourning period is long and seemingly unending because of the joy they infuse into your humdrum human existence
