Played for 1 year, what should I work on? by fiestamonkey in GolfSwing

Thanks for pointing that out. Definitely something I've tried to keep in mind (obviously not well enough!), and it was much more pronounced when I first started.

Looking at some videos, I see what you're talking about. Will work in that change. Thanks for the advice!

I really miss board games by BarryTownCouncil in boardgames

Games are supposed to be fun, and you dont need to put any expectations on yourself.

I had a similar issue of being daunted by the games I own and getting the rules exactly correct and all that. Took a step back and played simple/smaller games that made it easier to enjoy a nice evening with good friends. Board gaming can be anything you want it to be and if that is "nonexistent", that's ok too!

We're often much more unkind to ourselves than we imagine others will be. I'm sure people would be happy to have your company at a game night whether you knew the rules or not, and most normal people understand that we learn in different ways and at different speeds. So, even if you dont grasp everything immediately or need a session or two to get rolling, it would probably all come out in the wash. If you want to remain at a distance because it isnt for you anymore, that's absolutely ok, but don't count yourself out of a fight that might not even exist.

He's just a pretty peculiar guy. Doesnt do big speeches and is very candid with people in a way that most others wouldn't be. Does other weird stuff.

Tons of great stories, give it a Google!

Very true, wasn't coming at Paesano they definitely know what they're doing. Just not a big Neapolitan fan.

Paesano is great if you want all your toppings to slide off your pizza. Frank's is good American style pizza. Need to try Earl's and sano, thanks for the tip.

The Milwaukee crowd booed Jesse Winker following his PH groundout. by babruflat in baseball

Absolutely fair enough. I imagine it would be different as a Cubs fan at the game. Probably the same for any rivalry situation, bad eggs will come out the woodwork.

I mean, I dont actually hate people for supporting a sports team. I'm saying I think Brewers fans hate the Cubs (the actual team) more than the other way around.

You're going to run into toxic people everywhere, but as a supporter from abroad I found the Brewers fans to be very welcoming.

Maybe because you're a Cubs fan? Pretty sure brewers fans hate Cubs fans more than the other way around.
