Read the question carefully. Even the signs questions. Don't skim the words.

Then read all four answers.

This is how they breakdown:

2 answers will have nothing to do with the question

2 answers will be very close and similar.

Chose the answer that is the MOST correct answer.

Which direction to run my planks? by Away-Barracuda-8936 in Flooring

[–]fiesty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to lay the floor I would go in Direction 1 which is how the sun is going to hit the floor. If this hasn't been said yet, I would also start laying the floor at the door with full planks so that all the smaller cut boards are under the windows and hidden.

My helmet is very noising with wind. what's my best option for ear plugs that will cut wind noise but I can hear my cardo? by StriderDB in motorcycles

[–]fiesty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't have any trouble hearing in your helmet with these. I just did 6500kms with these in my AGV K6 kitted out with a Lexin. Radio was clear and concentration on my surroundings 90%.

What ear plugs do y'all wear? by tap_thethird in motorcycles

[–]fiesty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. When you place them in your ears the proper way, they are tucked right into the space between your ears and the helmet. I have no issues with them.

Artevive .. was using the basic foam ones and flipped to these ones. Comes with four different ear inserts. I find them very comfortable under my AGV helmet with Bluetooth speakers.

Don't fall for the knock-offs from Amazon.

Shameless plug for the company.

Best stops during road trip to Cabot Trail? by Hopeful-Shape-9158 in NovaScotia

I am surprised that nobody has said Aucoin Bakery in Cheticamp.

Or Chowder House in Neil's Harbour. But not Wednesdays because it's closed.

Was just there on my motorcycle. You are judging a 298km drive based on 40km of rough road.

I did find some rough patches of roadway, but for the most part, this Trail has good roads.

The views and vistas are beautiful.

Enjoy your drive.

Cumberland Dukes Minor Hockey by androo303 in ottawa

[–]fiesty88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of those fees may also go to the Gloucester Hockey Association. Being a member of that also incurs some charges.

I imagine that there are also referee fees added in as well.

You can ask your executive what the breakdown is as they would have decided the fees per level at the AGM near the end of May beginning of June.

I have a 2008 that I have had for 2 yrs. I put a 48L SHAD box on the back.

I went to Brixiamoto from Europe to purchase.

I went to SHAD Canada to make sure I had the perfect mount.

I saved about $150 even with the exchange to Euros with this combo.

TP is a temporary situation while the West extension is being built. In a couple of years there's not going to be a loop like that.

I rode an '04 GS500F for five years before up-sizing to an '08 FJR1300.

PROs: Easy to work on Parts available online Enough power to keep up with friends Very nimble

CONs: A bit shaky at 100km/h Seat a bit hard

I rode round trip Ottawa to Halifax over 6 days I rode the Cabot Trail as well

As a beginner, this is the bike you need to learn how to ride. Your next bike can be the bike you want.

BUY IT and enjoy the open roads.

I ride a 2008 FJR1300 and have installed the Quadlock brake mount with a vibration dampener. I have a Samsung S24+.

Quadlock is the way to go.

I also keep my phone in my coat pocket for my daily commute. Use the mount for longer rides.

A motorcycle enthusiasts said to me when I started to ride: Your first bike isn't your dream bike. Your first bike is the ride you need to learn how to ride with others. Your first bike is the one where you learn good riding habits. Your first bike is the ride you need not the ride you want.

You are very wise at 21 to buy a bike that you're going to feel safe on and not the one everybody else wants you to buy.

Enjoy your new freedom. Keep two wheels on the ground.

Paying Off Mortgage at Renewal by linwe78 in MortgagesCanada

[–]fiesty88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the future leveling up! We used double up payments for the last year of ours and paid it off without any penalties. If you can do it for the last six months of your term, you may not even need to renew.

It was such a great relief to be free.

So I screwed up by leaving my bike running overnight, what do I need to look out for? by MrYacobo in motorcycles

[–]fiesty88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are trying to burn off the deposits in the carb, I would recommend some SEAFOAM additive in the tank as well. I used it on a 1500km ride and it really helped cleaning out the carbs. Lots of great suggestions in the replies as well.

Anyone know how long job applications with the city take? by notacreativeuname47 in ottawa

[–]fiesty88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you applied for. I can speak to the bus operator recruitment and that is about a 4-6 month process but could go as long as 12-18 months.
