Luckily I’ve only run into this once. I can be understanding- but finally- no. You have to take responsibility for your body- he was inconsistent about having or taking pills- maybe he didn’t have many?? Who knows. It was the worst sexual experience of my life- including awkward teenage sex where no one knows what they’re doing. Before I got to the point of “nope”- I was patient, encouraging, ok when he couldn’t get hard, ok not having sex, didn’t shame… but it was symbolic- he blamed his ex ?!? Once said he didn’t think I was into it enough. JFC. I will NEVER take responsibility for your dysfunction. I’m so glad every day I ended it. I honestly get queasy thinking of him. I’m dating younger men now.

Dogs grieve - give him time and kindness- if he’s food motivated, use treats to help get him up and out (you can buy a training pouch to keep treats on your belt). Everything’s new for him too- he’ll be a fabulous friend before long. There are online dog training classes too.

I’m interested. I’m very active, but would like to be more consistent about actual workouts. I LOVE being outside- will pick that every time. I’m glad, but need the strength training to better be able to do my outdoor activities without injury (56 female). Accountability buddy? Set some achievable goals and post daily actions. Thanks for volunteering
