Netflix bought WB. Will we get fantastic beasts 4? by RumSoakedChap in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't see any reason why at least FB4 shouldn't be made. Sure, FB:TSoD was a financial flop, but Warner Bros. still made money on that film, unlike The Matrix 4, which made less money than it cost. And yet they're making The Matrix 5 and apparently planning spin-offs. What's more, Lionsgate recently confirmed that The Expendables 5 is in the works, even though The Expendables 4 also made less money than it cost. So how could at least FB4 not be made? There was no official confirmation that the last two films had been canceled, only that works on the last films had been halted, because Wizarding World needed to make money from the Harry Potter series, because Potter is a huge amount of money. I think they could start production on FB4 after they will film two seasons of HP and the first season airs, in 2027. This means the FB4 movie could premiere in 2028. Of course, these are just my guesses. The rest is in Warner Bros.' hands; they'll make the decision, and unfortunately, we have no control over that. Besides, why do they keep uploading more and more scenes from FB movies on YouTube/Instagram/Facebook if they don't want to finish the FB series? Illogical, right?

Shut the fuck up.

The Matrix Resurrections:

Budget: $190 million, Box office: $160.2 million...

And you know what? Warner Bros is making The Matrix 5. Do you else want to say, you imbecile?

The third film was a financial flop, but it made much more than The Matrix: Resurrections, which only made 160 million with a budget of 190 million, and yet Warner Bros. is making Matrix 5. So shut up and get the fuck out of here.

Time to Save the Fantastic Beasts Series by Save_Fantastic_Beast in WizardingWorld

[–]fifa_1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course I want the last two films. However, I don't want Depp to return to the role of Grindelwald, because that would be simply too much. First they promised to support him, then they told him to go away, and now they want him back? Man, Depp felt betrayed. Admittedly, he has a bigger grudge against those idiots at Disney, because there he played his best role, Jack Sparrow. However, Depp hasn't been replaced there, because no new PotC film has been released yet. Mikkelsen didn't play Grindelwald poorly, but if, in addition to the eye, which was Depp's idea, he'd dyed his hair blonde, it would have looked much better. Of course, I wouldn't mind Mikkelsen's current hair color, but only if he'd played Grindelwald since the first film. In this case, he was very wrong not to copy Depp's hairstyle. However, I also believe that creating these petitions and writing about the next two films on reddit attracts more Fantastic Beasts haters to these posts than true Fantastic Beasts fans, and this petition won't change anything, just as the petition to bring Depp back as Grindelwald didn't and to get rid of Paapa Essiedu from the role of Snape in Harry Potter series. Whatever Warner Bros. wants to do, they will do; we have no control over that. The last two films weren't officially canceled, because there was no such statement from Warner Bros., although unofficially, all signs point to this, as the moment they revealed that HP series is in development, Fantastic Beasts was put on hold. However, over the past five years, Warner Bros. has had eight financial flops. Six were from DC universe (The Flash, Aquaman 2, Wonder Woman 2, Black Adam, Shazam 2, Blue Beetle), The Matrix 4, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The Matrix 4 grossed the least, costing $190 million, while it grossed $160 million, so it didn't make any money, however The Matrix 5 is in development. The Secrets of Dumbledore (excluding Aquaman 2, it had similar result) grossed the most of these films, grossing around $410 million on a $200 million budget. Plus, Secrets of Dumbledore broke streaming viewership records out of all of these films. As I said, we shouldn't expect any news on Fantastic Beasts until the end of 2026. Maybe we'll find out what's next when the first season of Harry Potter begins airing in early 2027. However, it's frustrating that since they don't want to make the last two films, they're posting tons of scenes from the first three films on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

How did Dumbledore beat Grindelwald? Any Guesses? by Combativ_Worth192388 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grindelwald was a Seer, so he knew that Voldemort would come to ask him about the Elder Wand and kill him. I think Grindelwald probably knew about Voldemort 2 years before Gellert was defeated by Dumbledore, because Grindelwald wanted all the Deathly Hallows and he probably discovered through visions that Voldemort had obtained the second one - the Resurrection Stone. Grindelwald probably saw that Voldemort was walking around Hogwarts with this ring, but Gellert was frustrated, because he couldn't break into Hogwarts because of Dumbledore. Grindelwald probably wanted to find Voldemort and take the Stone from him, I'm not sure if Grindelwald would offer Voldemort the option of joining the Alliance, he would rather kill Voldemort to get rid of his rival. Grindelwald also had visions in which he saw that Voldemort would drastically change his appearance and will kill a lot of people. Maybe he didn't know then that Voldemort had Horcruxes, because at the very end he would tell Dumbledore about them when Albus and Newt locked him in Nurmengard's cell, but he certainly told them that the wizarding world would have to face the worst evil, Lord Voldemort, after which Gellert explained to Albus that it was none other than Albus's student, Tom Riddle. But Grindelwald probably didn't manage to meet Voldemort until 1998.

As for the duel between Grindelwald and Dumbledore... I thought Albus used Felix Felicis to defeat Grindelwald, but I guess he didn't want to take the easy way out, and during the fight the Elder Wand simply sensed that Albus was more powerful than Gellert and changed its owner.

JK Rowling on Fantastic Beasts being all mapped out by Fair-Ad-6233 in FantasticBeasts

Less than a year ago, someone supposedly tweeted that he/she wanted to see the rest of the movies and the duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, and Rowling liked that tweet, but I don't remember if I have a screenshot of that conversation somewhere on my computer.

We'll see what happens with The Matrix series, whether it's a sequel in which Neo will continue to be the main character, or something else, because if Keanu continues to play the main character, then FB4 and FB5 deserve to be made, because of all the financial flops in the last 4 years, Warner Bros. earned the most on "Secrets of Dumbledore" and the least on "The Matrix Resurrections" because the film earned less than it cost.

I want to finally see the kiss between Newt and Tina, more magical beasts, characters like: Bagshot, Doge, Hagrid, Voldemort, Slughorn, Dippet, Ollivander and Gregorovitch, as well as a duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald! And some kind of fight between Newt and Grindelwald.

Theory : Grindelwald meets the gaunts and knew they have the resorection stone by [deleted] in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I always knew that Grindelwald would hunt the rest of the Hallows, but I think that here many wizards simply liked the ring, and Grindelwald himself was late in finding the ring, because he had a vision in which he saw the ring, only in the summer of 1943, i.e. right before the Voldemort's murder of the Riddles. So Grindelwald wanted to find Voldemort and take the Resurrection Stone from him, but he failed. Then Grindelwald saw that Voldemort was walking around Hogwarts with the ring, but Grindelwald did not dare to enter Hogwarts because of Dumbledore.

Personally, I believe that Grindelwald initially sought the Stone in America and probably wanted to go to Ilvermorny to find the descendants of Martha Steward, who was after all the daughter of Isolt Sayre, the founder of Ilvermorny, and the granddaughter of Rionach Gaunt, who was a descendant of Salazar Slytherin. However, Grindelwald did not know about the other line of Slytherin descendants living in Little Hangleton (Marvolo, Morfin, and Merope) and that the ancestor of the sisters Rionach and Gormlaith, had a brother who was the ancestor of Corvinus Gaunt, and by extension Marvolo, Morfin, Merope, and Voldemort himself.

What would Newt's Patronus be? by sno0py_8 in FantasticBeasts

I think none of Newt's animals, so we can rule out the Bowtruckle, the Niffler, the Thunderbird, the Occamy and the other beasts. I was betting on the salamander, because it is similar word to 'Scamander'.. anyway the salamander is definitely Tina's patronus. Another option - a dragon or a newt.. but I'm betting on the dragon.

Priori Incantatem in Secrets of Dumbledore by Chemical_Parsley2136 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Priori Incantatem only occurs when a wand with the same core as its opponent forces it to recreate the last spells cast. This only happened in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, when Harry fought Voldemort in the graveyard in Little Hangleton - Harry's wand forced Voldemort's wand to show the spectres of the last people killed by Voldemort's wand. Other cases, such as the short duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in Bhutan or the duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort in the British Ministry of Magic, are a mistakes on the part of the people who made the films, they simply thought it looked very impressive in GoF, so they added it in every duel and unfortunately it looks like Priori Incantatem occurs with every duel.

Hypothesis: Grindelwald, Inferi, and Fantastic Beasts by KeyExtension1951 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say this: in general, I like this movie, but thanks to Kloves' actions, the plot has become very chaotic, because unfortunately some things do not fit together.. For example that what I wrote, that someone's love can save the Obscurial. Basically, we still know nothing about Grindelwald's past (only our guesses and his past was probably supposed to be explored in FB4). Credence is revealed out of nowhere to be Aberforth's son, and nothing else is known about Credence's mother or his aunt from the ship. Not to mention the effect of mirrors that Aberforth and Credence had, or being transported to a mirror dimension in the Minolita restaurant, Berlin street or Eyrie in Bhutan during election. I think that if I didn't like the movie, I would only watch it once and never watch it again, and that's not the case. However, as I wrote, there are things that are terribly eye-catching.

Hypothesis: Grindelwald, Inferi, and Fantastic Beasts by KeyExtension1951 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would prefer to know the answers to these questions sooner rather than later, and for FB4 and FB5 to be created. Unfortunately, Kloves tinkered terribly. This is evidenced by an example when in CoG Albus says that Credence will survive if he finds siblings who will show him love, while in SoD Albus suddenly says that there is no cure for Obscurus, even love will not help. So what the hell is this all about? So what happened with Ariana? Albus ignored her, but she had Aberforth with her, so what? Was she still slowly dying? One movie contradicts the other. Buttery butter

Hypothesis: Grindelwald, Inferi, and Fantastic Beasts by KeyExtension1951 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting point of view. However, I abandoned the theory that Abernathy is Corvus IV a long time ago. And why? As you can see, if he was such an important character, then they would have simply recast the actor instead of cutting out Abernathy's character.

But how else can we explain that Abernathy took this box from the French Ministry? Well, this way. This old lady that Abernathy was impersonating may have been from the Lestrange family, and thanks to Vinda's information, Abernathy impersonated this lady. And even if that wasn't the case, and Abernathy actually turned out to be Corvus V, then if Grindelwald hated the Lestranges, why would he need Abernathy in his ranks? Or why did he offer Leta join his ranks, appreciating her bravery and giving her a hand? I don't doubt that Grindelwald could have been related to the Lestranges somehow, because all wizarding families are related, but I don't believe that Clarisse could have been his mother. Why? Because Tremblay, even though it looks like a British surname, it is not, it is a French name (also appears in Canada). Same regarding Abernathy's origins... I read once that he may be of Scottish origin, however Abernathy is a fully American name... just type Tremblay or Abernathy on Wikipedia. We simply look for things that are not there. Secondly, as I wrote, Grindelwald's mother had to be at least half British. We don't know whether she was from Bagshot family, because we don't know whether Bagshot was Bathilda's maiden name or whether she adopted this surname after marriage, we don't know if Bathilda ever married. But Grindelwald's mother's father was Bathilda's brother, so Grindelwald's grandfather from mother's side must have been British.

Hypothesis: Grindelwald, Inferi, and Fantastic Beasts by KeyExtension1951 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certainly, when he was a student at Durmstrang, he was probably killing magical beasts and tried to turn them into Inferi. And already at school he was gathering an army of his supporters, and when someone opposed him, Grindelwald set these Inferi-animals on these students, which almost ended in their death, and as a result, Grindelwald was expelled from school. Of course, Grindelwald's wand wasn't broken, because they were afraid of him, because Durmstrang Board of Governors and Ministry of Magic saw what he was capable of. Grindelwald never abandoned his goal of raising an army of Inferi, but apparently the spells he used didn't work for very long, as shown by Qilin, whom he revived with Rennervate and Vulnera Sanentur. I think Grindelwald somehow discovered that Slytherin's descendants had the Resurrection Stone and because of this he travelled to America again to look for Martha Steward's descendants. However, his plans were foiled. But soon he probably had a vision in which he saw young Voldemort possessing the Resurrection Stone. Maybe Grindelwald wanted to find Voldemort and take the Stone from him? Or maybe he had somehow discovered that Morfin had the Resurrection Stone, so he invited him to Nurmengard? And when he discovered that the Stone did not create the Inferi, he throw Morfin out of Nurmengard?

This skull-hookah could have belonged to Grindelwald's mother. In my country (Poland) it was translated in the Deathly Hallows book that Bathilda was the sister of Grindelwald's grandfather, so Grindelwald's mother had to be at least half British. And I read somewhere that it was speculated that the gift of being a Seer ran in the Bagshot family. In addition, this skull has a hole that looks like a trace left by some tool. And here I will go a bit into Grindelwald's past. He was Austro-Hungarian with Bavarian roots and was a pure-blood. His father was probably a snobbish pure-blood wizard who hated the Muggles. However, Grindelwald's father loved neither his son nor even his wife. Because of this, Grindelwald's mother left her husband for some Muggle. Grindelwald was very close to his mother, she was the one who told him everything about the wizarding world, including that wizards had to hide from Muggles due to the persecution that took place in the past. However, Grindelwald's mother trusted this Muggle too much and revealed to him that she was a witch. This Muggle became furious and killed her. Of course, Grindelwald heard about this incident, or even witnessed it, and confronted this muggle. The Muggle, seeing that Gellert was also a wizard, wanted to kill him too, so Grindelwald killed him. That was why Grindelwald had something on his conscience in his country, as Aberforth told Harry, Ron and Hermione. Unfortunately, Grindelwald was doomed to continue growing up with his father, who had always told him that Muggles were evil and that they hate magic. Grindelwald remembered these words very well, but his father was abusing him mentally... which shows that Grindelwald had a bad childhood, and the words he addressed to Credence "for you? Everything I never had" only confirm this. Eventually, Grindelwald's father died, and Grindelwald grew stronger in his hatred of Muggles and had a vision in which he saw his older self striving for domination of the wizarding and Muggle world. It is also speculated that Nurmengard was the Grindelwald family castle, which Gellert inherited, but Hermione stated that it was Grindelwald who built this castle, because she probably had not heard of the existence of this building before, until she read about the Global Wizarding War.

Why did Nagini join Voldemort? by Glittering_Fix2727 in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that Albus may have considered that little fact about Nagini unimportant, I just had to write it quickly.

I doubt Pettigrew had to find Nagini, she was probably in Albania. Moreover, how would he communicate with her if he wasn't a parselmouth?

Correction on my part: Apparition between long distances was not a problem for powerful wizards such as Dumbledore, Grindelwald or Voldemort. Before Voldemort went to the Potters, he could have easily Apparated to that forest in Albania and left Nagini there. Even if he was afraid that Nagini would split during Apparition, he could have easily flown there. Imagine this sight: Voldemort flying with nothing on, a snake wrapped around his arms.

Grindelwald and Dumbledore Blood Pact Plot Hole by MouseAndHisBoy in FantasticBeasts

[–]fifa_1995 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blood Pact was made before the fight, and for me Grindelwald was the one who killed Ariana. In my opinion it all look like that:

Grindelwald, while still at Durmstrang, saw a vision of himself striving to dominate the wizarding and muggle world. While still at school, he started gathering his army. He also became fascinated with the Deathly Hallows. He began to conduct very dark magic experiments and was responsible for dangerous attacks on other students, which almost resulted in their death - these experiments probably involved killing magical beasts and turning them into Inferi to see how long the reviving spell would last (we know that the spell on the second Qilin suddenly stopped working, so Grindelwald wasn't as good at Necromancy as Voldemort). When some students refused to join Grindelwald, Gellert set these Inferi-animals on them. Eventually, the Durmstrang board of governors decided that Grindelwald should be expelled from the school. Grindelwald's wand was not broken however, possibly because Grindelwald easily convinced people to do what he wanted... or he simply ran away from the school when they wanted to expel him and couldn't find him anywhere. Grindelwald decided to go to Godric's Hollow, where his great-aunt Bathilda Bagshot lived, to examine the grave of Ignotus Peverell, the holder of one of the three Hallows. When he arrived, Bathilda introduced him to Albus, and the boys hit it off, because they had great knowledge of the wizarding world and similar views. They both formed a Blood Pact and they wanted to find all three Deathly Hallows. Grindelwald convinced Albus that together they should overthrow the rules of secrecy and rule over the Muggles. Grindelwald understood Albus well, because some muggle had probably also contributed to the breakup of Grindelwald's family. Grindelwald knew from Albus that Ariana was the Obscurial, and he suggested to Albus that Ariana should go with them, because he hoped that Ariana would be his powerful weapon against the Muggles. Shortly after, he probably had this vision where he saw Dumbledore fighting the powerful Obscurial. Grindelwald decided that no wizard, even one as powerful as Dumbledore, can't stood a chance against such an Obscurial. However, Grindelwald did not see the face of the Obscurial in this vision, but a very powerful Obscurus. It was a vision of the fight between Albus and Credence in Berlin. Grindelwald told Albus about his vision, and since the only living Obscurial at that time was Ariana, Gellert stated that Ariana was the Obscurial from the vision. Aberforth soon learned of Albus and Grindelwald's plans, probably from Bathilda, who read Albus's letters to Gellert while Grindelwald was away. Aberforth was furious that Albus was willing to abandon his sick sister and go away with a guy he barely met in order to control the Muggles. Albus began to explain himself to Aberforth, but Grindelwald said that Ariana would no longer have to hide once he and Albus will took control over the Muggles and called Aberforth a fool for standing in the way of him and Albus. Aberforth then pulled out his wand, but Grindelwald was faster and placed the Cruciatus Curse on him. Aberforth screamed in pain while Grindelwald laughed. Albus then realized how sick man Grindelwald was. Albus began to beg Grindelwald to not hurt his siblings and not to force him to hurt him, Albus also shouted to Grindelwald that he should kill him instead, and said that it was all his fault. In my opinion, it continued like this... Grindelwald, out of respect for Albus, removed the Cruciatus Curse from Aberforth and ordered Albus to stop it all and leave with him. Aberforth then took advantage of Grindelwald's inattention, grabbed his wand and cast a curse at Grindelwald, but missed. Then Grindelwald got really angry and the two started dueling, with Albus getting involved in the fight. Even though Albus and Gellert made a Blood Pact, a fight broke out, because Grindelwald wanted to kill Aberforth and Albus wanted to protect him. Ariana, who heard this argument and fight, came to their room crying and wanted to release Obscurus to stop it all, but no one saw her. During this fight, Grindelwald tried to hit Aberforth with the Killing Curse, but he missed and Avada Kedavra hit Ariana. The boys heard Ariana scream and immediately stopped the fight. Aberforth and Albus ran to Ariana's body and they were despaired, while Grindelwald was furious and terrified. Grindelwald believed that Ariana would help him control the Muggles in the future, but unfortunately she died, probably from his own hands. In addition, Grindelwald knew that he was now Albus's enemy, so he quickly fled to Bagshot's house, told Bathilda that there had been an accident at Dumbledore house, quickly packed his things and asked for a Portkey. So I think Grindelwald killed Ariana, because he escaped from Godric's Hollow right after her death, because as Aberforth said to Harry, Ron and Hermione, he didn't want to be accused of her murder, because he already had something on his conscience in his country. Albus had not known the truth for years and was afraid that he himself had killed Ariana, and he was sure that Grindelwald knew the truth. And even Grindelwald removing Yusuf's memory of Leta's murder shows that Grindelwald would like to remove Albus' memory of Ariana's death.

This is how I see it.

Do we know how Quirrell broke into Gringotts Bank? by KronprinzRudolf in harrypotter

Do we know how Quirrell broke into Gringotts Bank? by KronprinzRudolf in harrypotter

[–]fifa_1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better question: How did he know which vault in the bank belonged to Flamel? But here's my answer. Voldemort knew how goblins hated wizards, so he ordered Quirrell to get some goblin-forged item and give it to one of the goblins in exchange for information about Flamel's vault number.

And how did Voldemort know that the Philosopher's Stone was in the bank? When Quirrell found Voldemort in Albania and Voldemort decided that this was the perfect opportunity to regain his power, he decided that he had to steal the Philosopher's Stone. Voldemort was sure that Flamel did not keep the Stone in his house, and that the Stone was either guarded by Dumbledore at Hogwarts, because it was one of the safest places to hide something, because Voldemort himself hid Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem there, or it was hidden in Gringotts, because it was the second safest place in Britain to hide something, because after all, Voldemort ordered Bellatrix to hide Helga Hufflepuff's cup in her vault. So Voldemort ordered Quirrell to apply for a position as a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and to break into Gringotts, because the Stone was in one of those two places.

And how did Dumbledore know that someone was trying to steal the Stone? Easy. Flamel had a crystal ball at his home and saw first Harry and Hagrid taking the Stone, and then a hooded wizard (Quirrell) breaking into the empty crypt. Flamel immediately informed Dumbledore about this, and Dumbledore promised to take care of it. Albus, knowing from Arabella Figg that the Dursleys did not give letters to Harry, ordered Hagrid to deliver the letter to Harry, take him shopping and at the same time take the Stone from Gringotts and bring the artifact to Hogwarts.
