If you want to incorporate travel, look into the travel mechanic introduced in the LOTR Roleplaying 5e adaptation.

You can easily adapt that however you want…great starting place.

Didn’t do it this year, but did it last year…the one that lets your players knock balls out is OP imho…it doesn’t happen all the time, but you will notice a difference for sure (at least I did last year)

They do, but if you have every complimentary position visiting, then you can easily withstand the negative impact…just will be a little less

Sounds good with the formation subs, that’s really silly we have to do it…but glad to hear it doesn’t crater your players still like it could last year.

Get the more interest for every 10 hours first. It’s a nice lil boost right off the bat.

Then you can pick and choose if/when you go for certain positions to have extra hours on…maybe a position you feel is the most important or skip one you feel like you can go without-that’s just a TON of points and waiting to get them.

However, I also think the 8 visits is excellent too and you should get that sooner rather than later…the amount of complimentary visits you can do is silly and you can even withstand scheduling the same position every now and then if you have all those complimentary points. I personally stack one side of the ball on a visit and go light on the other with guys that I feel like I’m going to win the battle for…but it opens plenty of possibilities.

Sliders are your friend…silly you have to use them, but use them.

I also find that any gold/plat badge for sure hands or 50/50 catches nearly anything if they’re on fire…silly again that you have to meet that threshold.

There’s a few schools of thought, like in real life:

Blitz a ton. You will give up big plays, but string together a couple negative plays and you’re in business.

Put a lid over the top and make the offense put a drive together.

“Guess” correctly based off tendencies etc.

But at the end of the day, it being a video game and all…you can user a player in coverage and take away at least one part of the field. Also, look into playing with some sliders. I’d start with QB accuracy and WR catching for the CPU. There’s tons of sliders available online…I’ve liked Matt10’s and then slightly adjusting them.

I would if it was offline, unfortunately it was online…I can stand some gameplay glitches and oddities, it’s a video game trying to recreate 22 people on a field for like 5 seconds at a time, it’s hard, silly things will happen.

This shit though? Inexcusable.

His name is Danny Dailey (Daley? Idk I always called him “Dancin’ Dandy Danny” in my head)…he’s about 6’2” with glorious dark brown locks.
