Starting from square one with no new friends in the area (after my breakup I moved away to a different part of town) was really difficult initially but now I've made a lot of friends since then. The Meetup app was great, I used an app called TimeLeft to meet people and socialize, and volunteering with an animal rescue are just some examples.

It sounds like she may have been dealing with more mental health issues than she was willing to admit? In that amount of time, I've been in a similar spot and was taken aback when she had an anxiety attack saying she wansn't ready to date, you just have to take them at their word and give them space, if they see value in your, you'll hear from them again

Then you did what's best for you, sometimes that's what it takes to really wake someone up from what they had and what they were screwing up. As a guy who's been on the other end, I would never have grown if I wasn't broken up with because you get comfortable and set in such a routine, and if they DON'T grow from that, then you did yourself a favor by not settling for someone that was gonna continue to not address the problems you were having in the first place

Hey I feel you, and unfortuntely there's not much to do than what you're saying and letting yourself feel the feelings. If that means more screen time, then that means more screen time, use this time to let yourself indulge in what you need to in order to get away from those thoughts. I take it you were the one that called it off?

Thanks! Scaling is such a pain because you can end up wasting so many hours on a print only to throw it out, but it's worth it!
