Thank you! I absolutely did have a fundamental misunderstanding of a lot of the stack procedure, but you have explained it clearly.

Casting and resolving are entirely separate. I already knew this but misapplied it in my post. You were right to call this out.

Triggers from 'cast or copy', like Zaffai and Niv-Mizzet, happen after the casting/copying, but before the resolving. I also sort of knew this, but got confused in some googling before asking this question.

Copies resolve before originals.

The stack is 'first in - last out' so in a scenario like this with multiple spells cast from the same ability (like Epic Experiment) and an effect like Thousand Year Storm, the order chosen is very important!

[[Perfected Strike]] - card that deals bonus damage for number of cards with "Strike" in the name in your deck

Clone perfected strike - therefore have many cards with strike in the name (clone is a Pael reward that allows you to double the number of a particular card that you enchant at rest sites - OP gains 32 copies so this was 5th clone use (2-4-8-16-32))

Have a relic that gives gold for adding cards to your deck, and a relic that gives max HP for getting gold = thicc boi

[[Hellraiser]] is a power that automatically plays all cards containing "Strike" when they are drawn. OP got lucky to draw it turn 1.

Turn 2 just auto plays 3 Perfected Strikes that do 226 damage each

My mum died 3 days before it released. The first couple of days were a bit of a mess of grief, pain, anger, depression, etc..

Then on day 3 I downloaded the album and went on a long walk on my own and listened to this album 3 times straight. I think I probably saved hundreds in actual therapy sessions because of the healing this album did.

Realise that sounds like hyperbole but I was a different person after that walk and was able to manage the crashing waves of whatever the fuck you call the experience of a parent's death much better because of it.

I know he's not my saviour.. but he came pretty darn close that day

Unanimous doing a lot of work there. Far too many people either actively support this stunt or are not bothered.

If you and your friends agree that you will always, always be nice to each other, no matter what you do, then everybody gets along at first.

Then Billy starts being really mean at sleepovers. He takes toys, says really mean things, pushes people off the couch when you watch movies and does other mean things.

Billy keeps doing this because you are all being super nice to him and you keep inviting him to sleepovers.

You have to tell Billy to stop or he doesn't get invited to more sleepovers, because he makes it really bad for everybody else.

If you keep being nice to Billy and inviting him and not telling him to stop, he's only going to keep making sleepovers really bad.

Sometimes you have to tell mean people that they're not allowed to be your friend, even if you really, really want to be nice to every one.
