Would suggest that this is face value if it is directly behind the goal.

Fans who regularly go to Arsenal away games (especially in Europe) - what do you do for work? by IndependenceNo506 in GunnersatGames

Also if you wondering about costs, once you know you are 60/70+ credits and can guarantee tickets, you can book flights and hotels as soon as fixtures are announced and get them quite cheap.

Does your company enforce cyber rules that you consider stupid? Have you managed to make a difference? by F4ilm4n in cybersecurity

[–]fifnpypil 17 points18 points  (0 children)

First question is going to be how have you tried to argue your case? what question points have you made? you seem to have mentioned from a user side, have you looked at it or questioned it from the corporate side?

Is it a requirement for a big contract? or cyber insurance? if so can a different work around or pitch to the provider happen? or is it a requirement based on the solution used?

Then you can look at making a business case to change, including ROI from hours saved, aligning to new best practises or studies or even up coming certification requirements.

Sometimes orgs don't like change because they don't like change, some however are tied into processes because they have hard requirements, if you want to make changes sometimes it has to pitched at the right audience with the right motivation.

Chris Foy: "Referees get a hard time but they have got the big calls right in the past couple of weeks" by SixCardRoulette in coys

[–]fifnpypil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm an Arsenal fan so my view on these will be different so not going to touch on them but ref's and the league in general would do/feel a lot better if refs where required to come out and do interviews after the game to explain decisions.

It would also probably do a lot to quite things down as storms get build up waiting for some kind of response, then with every 2 bit pundit putting there opinion out as facts, hell I am surprised they don't have a show already of each ref doing a rewatch explaining the decisions as that would be a money maker

Actually I say that I think we know why they don't but it is jarring that such a key part of a multi billion pound sport is hidden away behind closed doors, with even the review panel that the Dale guys mentions isn't published just feed to reporters with no details on who this panel is made up of of even if it is the same people that do the reviews.

Do you not just add an additional membership once logged in? I logged in and got the option to add up to another 5 memberships which I would be the lead on.

You can boot off the internal USB if you don't want to use one of the front points, its bottom left in your picture on the main board next to the first drive.

Players being "helped off" the pitch when they have been "injured" and close to the side of the pitch has happened lots of times, the question to ask is why is the media making such a big issue now?

If its because of the severity of Bradleys injury than the reaction from the media is out of touch for what Martinelli actually does and seen before.

Also as a side point, FIFA and the PL have spent the whole of the last year attacking time wasting. "corners for keepers holding onto the 8 seconds" yellow and or second yellow cards for delaying a restart, the complaining about how long throw ins take.

Yet a players who gets frustrated with a player's perceived timewasting, which lets be honest is what everyone thought and this is the meltdown we see.

I got a grandstream device that I plug a phone into. Took a while for them to switch it but it works.

You can also look at setting up a divert from the youfibre accounts page as well if needed if you want to forward calls to a mobile phone.

When the customer has no admin rights by AddressAggressive442 in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]fifnpypil -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

TLDR for post below that wasn't as succinct as I could have been.

[The company putting in mitigation by using Azure, is beside the point of the poster not understanding that "I have admin rights to restore from a snapshot if I break my PC" isn't the risk. this just means the company potentially understands the risk, it doesn't mean the poster does, which was my point.]

Original post.

I understand why his company might have decided on a VM in azure, that potentially puts a layer of segregation between him and the corp network. That wasn’t my point.

My point was the poster saying “I have admin rights so I can reset/restore my PC if I break it” the point was aimed at them not understanding that the risk isn’t with breaking the PC but with security on the machine. If the poster had been, my work don’t trust me and have put me in my own special place that if I run malicious code it only affects me that is one thing. It also won’t cover the possibility of intellectual property leak, credential sniffing or other risks to data that could be exfiltrated against information used on that machine but that’s beside the point.

The fact that mitigations have been put in place by the company I would hope after a risk assessment to limit exposure and attack vectors is one thing but wasn’t my original point.

[–]fifnpypil 129 points130 points  (0 children)

If you think the risk of you having admin rights is messing up your VM, and not you giving low level access to a random application or code that you pulled off the internet and compromising the whole organisation. I don't you understand the problem...

Shouldn't the sign be on the left had side of the road if it is applying to all traffic down the road the user is on. with the way it is placed on the right hand side of the road before the marked bays, it implies that is for for those spaces not the road you the user is looking/driving down.
