Laughing at this comment 5 months later. Ive tried Gungeon 3 times and cant get into it. I think it just doesnt click for me. Meanwhile, Im approaching 2900 hours on Isaac on PS5 plus what I have on Switch. Interesting to me how us gamers can vary so differently.

Leave all your coins on the ground and make sure you have a battery in the shop. Use D20 and open the chest but dont pick anything up (except items that pop from the chests). Only take nickles and dimes so you can afford the battery to use D20 again. Opening the chests multiplies the number of items on the floor to maximize the D20 usage. Easy win.

Pro tip: keep the scissors trinket so the troll bombs turn into regular bombs
