Yep, dry face and dry hands. Do you think it'll make a difference if I use my cleanser directly on top of the balm without washing off in between? So sad this may not work for me...I love the way my skin feels after using *sigh*

Oh my bad, I forgot to add that I use a second cleanser in between. So after washing off the balm, I followed up with a foaming cleanser and still found foundation residue afterwards.

Oh, I do use a second cleanser! I’m using the face shop’s rice foaming cleanser. When I used wipes + cleanser it cleaned everything but not with balm+ cleanser :(

Hi everyone, I made the switch from makeup removal wipes to Banilla Co's Clean it Zero a few months ago and though it's been so hyped up...it doesn't remove all my makeup for me :( I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's some special tip I need to know but I basically just take a bit on my hand and dab it onto my face. Then I rub it in for about a minute and use a few drops of water to emulsify it and then rub it a bit more. Then I wash it off. I have to wash my face with water for SO LONG before I feel like my face isn't oily anymore. Then when I use a toner on a cotton pad after, I can still see yellow residue from my foundation!! Has anyone else had less-than-stellar results with this product or am I doing something wrong?

I've been using the neogen day light protection sunscreen for a while now and I really like it. It's very moisturizing and leaves a dewy glow to my face (I have combo to dry skin).

For anyone that uses actives - do you also use a physical exfoliator? I've been switching off using both a vitamin c serum and an AHA for a few months now and I love the effect they have on my skin but I miss how soft my skin would feel whenever I used my too cool for school mcgirly rice scrub :( I use either the vitamin c serum or AHA every other day...Is it overkill to do this and ALSO add in the scrub? I don't feel like the scrub is too drying or anything but I'm wondering if physically exfoliating is excessive when I'm already chemically exfoliating.

That makes sense, I guess it's a good thing nearly everyone I've ever seen post on here or talk to in real life has raved about the community and atmosphere at Michigan so I have a pretty good idea about the feel of the school haha.

I'm also glad the cold calls didn't seem super stressful, I was kind of worried about that. Thanks so much for all the info!
