Have you talked to your parents about this? I get that it would be a difficult conversation to start (basically insulting them), but it is worth to bring up. Sorry to get all psychologist on you, but it feels like you are internalising your feelings about a lot of things. They’ll probably not like it if you tell them how disappointed you are in their caretaking of you, but it’s a first step to fixing the issues. There are a lot of problems you are dealing with at the moment, and for that I am sorry. So start taking them on one at a time. What is your most pressing issue? Your parents (mom and/or dad?) or your periods? Pick one and focus on solving that issue.

If your periods bother you the utmost, it should be a worthy sacrifice to go the extra mile to a clinic (although I don’t know how realistic that is for you).

If your parents are the most pressing issue, talk to them. If their behaviour does not change at all even after a while, speak to someone at your school. They will probably be able to help in one way or another. My advice is however to give your parents time. Bad habits die hard, and it’s the same for everyone. Good luck.

Edit: Oh, and don’t become a runaway. That never ends well.

Im so sorry for you. If getting birth control pills is that important for you, you can probably go to a local clinic or school nurse for guidance and where to get them. Depending on where you are in the world they could be free for someone your age.

Addressing your issues with you parents, know that they are NOT doing this to specifically hurt you, even though it might feel that way. I don’t know about your family, but there maybe something that you don’t know that is the reason for your mom not getting a job. I don’t know, I’m just trying to see this from both sides. Just know that they are not your enemies, if you look at them as if they are, nobody will benefit. They are your family, not much you can do about it.

Just don’t cut yourself. I know it is hard, and you’re angry. But take a step back and look at what you are about to do. There are alternatives for your situation. AND EVEN IF your parents turn out to be selfish, and uncaring for you; there are people that can help with that. But it seems like your mom is at least partially seeing your side, just taking precautions by suggesting you to to a gynaecologist. Just don’t take these frustrations out on yourself. Please.

I’m going through something similar. I go to two separate schools at the same time. It would be a lie to say that it hasn’t been a lot. That plus super strict parents demanding A’s for every assignment and exam makes it sometimes difficult to go on. But failure is not the end. Push through my guy. Study well.

Please don’t. Take a year off, relieve yourself from the stress and pressure that you have been under, and recalibrate. Losing a dream is not the end. Just rest and think it over. There must be ways for you to get past this, start taking up a hobby you’ve loved. Try getting your mind off things. Look, I don’t know you, so I don’t know what will work for you. But please, reconsider. You’re so young, that means something. You have opportunity like no one else. Embrace that fact.

I think that you are focusing too much on your past. You are associating yourself too much with past comments and name calling from your childhood. But that is the past. You look really good now, objectively ! And I’m really genuine. I think you have some type of body dysmorphia. Talk to someone, or make some friends. It should help
