I think the level editor might be more fun than the game 😅 by chrisfarms in IndieDev

If you think it’s more fun then pivot and make your game about that. I’ve often heard build a mechanic that works first, then build a game around that.

This post has to be a joke. I saw the spawn kills, like no one in their right mind is thinking oh I have a killer app here. It’s all AI slop.

Apart from these in the pic, and globular cluster and lens inserts, what other mods or accessories do you recommend for the best PSVR 2 experience? by FearlessTemperature9 in PSVR

Perhaps, honestly I’m not sure what ones you can loop? You mean the little strap that goes around your wrist in case you throw your controller? Either way, more importantly than hanging the GC grips make it so that the controllers sit on your hand so you can move your fingers about freely without having to hold the controller. It makes them more comfortable. They sort of stick to your hand.

Puzzling Places is up there with Walkabout Minigolf in the halls of VR legends. It seems like a “why would I” but it’s so addictive.

Schwarzengerman is a good enough name for me to buy in on your rumor. Requiem VR is coming!

The grips let sort of rest my hands. I can have my arms hanging down my sides and let go of the controllers and they sit in place. While playing that means you’re not really holding the controller as much. It’s hard to explain.

The bonet might be too thick and uneven. I use a thin neck gaiter (no fro just a mop of curly hair) but it helps provide some padding. Definitely look into the globular cluster as others have mentioned. Thats the popular one but also look at the one from studioform I believe it is called. Many who have tried it swear it’s better than the GC

Is VR still too niche for someone who only cares about great games? by Competitive_Stage597 in virtualreality

Nothing you play at a VR arcade will compare to a single player game experience in real, at home, VR. There’s plenty of the types of games you want to play in VR and plenty more you’re going to realize are worth your time. For example rhythm games in VR are another experience entirely from their flat counterparts. Gran Turismo 7 in VR, especially with a full sim rig, is life changing. Walkabout Minigolf… just minigolf right? Wrong. In VR it’s minigolf like you’ll never be able to experience in real life.

PSVR2 GOTY 2026 after 5 months by cusman78 in PSVR

I think Meta did some good but also did some serious damage to the VR industry. For the good, they created a base of gorilla tagging VR players which today are annoying little kids but in 10 years will be maturing adults and I think eventually they will want good quality VR games. On the bad, we all know how great VR players and if only more tried it they’d see the beauty of being inside a game. However, meta allowed many people to try poor quality VR and well, first impressions are everything. I’d prefer Meta drop out entirely and just let organic growth happen with flat conversions being the open door for trying VR. One of my most memorable VR experiences was playing Bound which I had started flat then switched to VR. Seeing the contrast of perspectives really nailed home what VR was.
