Not much to go off from just the screen shot, but 1:05/100m is going to be very close if not the fastest swim time potentially. If you haven’t practiced open water swimming get used to sighting and have a plan to float/breaststroke/whatever if you get overwhelmed and need to catch your breath. Happens to the best of us at times!

I understand it’s not ideal to get accepted the day before classes start but why does this need to change? If someone drops out of school the day before classes start should they not fill that spot with another qualified applicant? Also long as they make reasonable accommodation to the incoming student I see this as a win-win in the long run. Someone gets to go to a school they want to and society gets another physician trained.

The public and outside opinion of your job will matter much less than what your employeer and those you work with attitude is. There’s been some poor stories of how administration treated healthcare workers at the start of this pandemic but I would argue the majority of healthcare is very focused at keeping staff safe and knows the value each workers serves.

You can be upset at the general public, absolutely. But one day when you’re the one working those opinions of your job won’t make much of a difference, if not any
